I know a certain amount of them are present but can any more be added? I suppose there are other apps that have more emogies but I was hoping that Swiftkey may have some as an add on.
I don't need anymore info. I was letting you know there is nothing we can do to give you more emoji
As I mentioned:
1) Emojis are based on your phones make/model and it's current version of Android. Keyboards cannot create "new" emoji. Emoji is made by a 3rd party organization. Your device gets new emoji support when when a new version of Android comes out.
When I use Gboard on my Pixel XL I have an option for purple peace symbol as an emoji. (I use it to send people peace, love and happiness.) When I switch over to SwiftKey on the exact same phone running the exact same version of Android I no longer have the option to use the purple peace symbol. Can you tell me why that is? Can you tell me how to enable SwiftKey to utilize all of the emoji my phone has available?
The purple peace sign can be found on the second to last emoji page. The emoji page icon is 4 small icons making a square. The peace sign will appear with the other purple emoji.
Hi Gwyn Verde Your Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard uses the standard Android/iOS emoji font, which means that the emoji you see within Microsoft SwiftKey is dependent on your OS or the app you are using.
Hi Ron,
Is this regarding Symbols or another SwiftKey product?
Swiftkey keyboard for my Android. Samsung phone.
I know a certain amount of them are present but can any more be added? I suppose there are other apps that have more emogies but I was hoping that Swiftkey may have some as an add on.
Many thanks
Hi Ron,
SwiftKey should support all emoji that your device can support. Do you have an example of a keyboard that has more emoji than SwiftKey?
Emoji is dependent on a few things:
Device make/model
Android OS type
The phone is a Samsung S5 Active
The standard set of emogi,s are on the phone, I wanted to put more of them.
What other info do you need

2) FYI, emoji is spelled with a j. =]
Okay, many thanks
