Swiftkey keyboard won't resize when rotated. Landscape=Large Portrait=Small Please help

Hi All-

 

I've had my Swiftkey keyboard sizes set differently for landscape and portrait for years.

Portrait = Small and Landscape = Large

Swiftkey has always toggled between sizes when I rotated my phone.

All of a sudden, Swiftkey has stopped size swapping  when rotated,

on 2 different phones.  (Galaxy S6 and LG G6)

 

Forum search resulted in no matches for this issue.

Yes, my phone display  is set to "auto-rotate" and both the phone, and the Swiftkey rotates on my display.

But, Swiftkey simply has stopped changing keyboard sizes when rotated.

Please help.

    Just to clarify, the proper terms used in the Swiftkey "Layout" menu are are

    "FULL" and "COMPACT.'

    So, Swifkey is no longer switching between FULL and COMPACT when I rotate the screen.

    Portrait = COMPACT

    Landscape = FULL

     

    Please help.

    Hello,

    As always, please mention your SwiftKey version and Android version before posting a problem.

    I just tried on my HTC 10 Android 7.0, SwiftKey 6.5.7.17, I can't reproduce this issue.

    Thank you for responding.

    I've having the error on both my Samsung Galaxy S6 and my brand new LG G6.

    The Galaxy S6 is running Android 6.0.1 and Swiftkey Beta 6.5.7.17.

    The LG G6 is running Android 7.0 and Swiftkey Beta 6.5.7.17 

    They BOTH initially had the same issue when running the standard Swiftkey as well.

     

    Previously, and since using Swiftkey for many years on multiple phones,

    I set the Portrait to be COMPACT, 

    and the Landscape to be FULL,

    and Swiftkey would automatically toggle between the 2 settings whenever I rotated the phone.

    Now, after a while, Swiftkey will stop toggling, until I manually set the Landscape to be FULL again.

    After I do that, then Swiftkey goes back to automatically switching between both when I rotate the phone.

    BUT, the error eventually reappears.

     

    Please help.

    Sorry, I still can't reproduce this issue.

    Have you tried a reinstall?
