Can't remove learned suggestions in Japanese input mode
To remove incorrectly learned suggested words in English input mode, such as misspellings, long pressing the suggestion from the prediction bar correctly gives the option to remove that word.
However, when in Japanese input mode, long pressing a suggestion simply inputs the text of that suggestion.
Is there any way to individually remove incorrect suggestions in Japanese input mode?
Can any SwiftKey developers comment on this?
I really don't want to have to clear all learnt predictions just to remove a few unwanted predictions.
If any SwiftKey staff are reading this support request, I'd really appreciate a response.
It's been 2 months now with no response.
I'm using a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, with Android 4.4.4 and SwiftKey 6.6.6.21.
If anyone at SwiftKey could provide at least some acknowledgement of the issue it'd be greatly appreciated.
Update 2018/03/06
As described in the old thread below, it is not possible to remove learned suggestions in Japanese input mode. Long pressing a suggestion simply inserts the word, the same as what happens on a short press.

This has also been mentioned in this thread:

Given that SwiftKey recently released a Hiragana layout for the Japanese keyboard, this shows that development is still being done on Japanese input.
I recently bought a new phone and can report that I am still having the problem using the following setup:
Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact
Android Oreo 8.0
SwiftKey 6.7.8.25 - Japanese Romaji Keyboard
If any of the developers working on Japanese input for SwiftKey could acknowledge this issue it would be greatly appreciated.
I have the exact same problem. How is it that this was reported two years ago and there has been no response? This is a very frustrating problem.
I'm having the same issue. I accidentally added Madrid as マドリッド before finding out it was actually マドリード, and would really like to be able to remove the incorrect word.
Hi Nastassja Riemermann, can you please submit a ticket via https://aka.ms/sk-support? We'll be able to investigate further.
@... Sure, although I'm not sure if I should submit it under Languages or Typing and Predictions, since I'm able to remove predictions on the English keyboard.
Hi Nastassja Riemermann, you can submit it under 'Typing and Predictions', no problem.
@... Done.
