Did anyone lose 6 or more years of their predictive dictionary?
So recently there was a thread addressed the sync issue and FINALLY someone addresses it...
https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360054612351--SYNC-
But bluntly put, that didn't really answer anything... if anything, that raises even more concerns. Dashkorosh noted that he had 14k words but suddenly it went down to 1.3k words!
Then other people started to check their predictive dictionary and said their words were gone as well.... then I checked my predictive dictionary on my account and mine were gone too!
You can go here to check: https://data.swiftkey.com/
I exported my dictionary but ended up deleting it because it's useless (more on that later) but I can easily tell that I lost most of my words... because when I checked my predictive dictionary a month or so ago, I was scrolling down my predictive dictionary and almost never ending... like, I didn't know if I was ever going to hit the bottom of my list because it had THAT many years of words predicted for me... and now it's all gone :(
Looking back, I wish I kept my exported dictionary... but it wasn't like you can do anything with it. There's no option to reupload the exported file it to your Swiftkey account because there's no import button on the website... so what's the point of having an export option??
So as the thread title implies, have you checked to see if you lost your predictive dictionary? I mean, it seems sync is working now as I just uninstalled and reinstalled Swiftkey to see if it remembers stuff... but I don't think losing 6+ years of my predictive dictionary was worth it....
yes i lost my all words also i have backup for them but dont know how to use this backup now. Dont know why there is no import button lol. We were happy with swiftkey WITHOUT MICROSOFT AS ALWAYS HAHA . Why microsoft bought swiftkey ohh wait ofc for destroy it
