    Hello,
We have this shortcut for ".com" but it's kind of tricky.
It depends on if the text box is coded to be an email text box. If yes, you should be able to have "gmail.com" and other addresses by long-press on the @ key next to the full stop key.

But best advice is to create a shortcut in SwiftKey clipboard function. You can set clip content to ".com" and shortcut to letter "c". So that when you type "c", you will get ".com" in one of the three predictions on the prediction bar.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks for your reply Alpert!

I will try the long press on the @ key for email text fields but for me it's more for typing URLs when navigating the web on my phone.

I'm not sure how to create a shortcut in SwiftKey clipboard function as you suggested - can you kindly instruct me further or provide a link on how to do this please?

    Sure!

You can grab some info here.

Then you can follow the steps below:

    1. Open SwiftKey Settings
    2. Tap "Typing" > "Clipboard" > "Add a new clip"
    3. A pop-up window shows, and now you can enter ".com" in the "Clip content" field
    4. then add "c" or "com" or whatever you like (to trigger the ".com" prediction) in "Shortcut (optional)" field
    5. Tap "save". All done!
    6. If you want this content stays in SwiftKey, tap on the pin icon to pin the content on top.

Now you can try to type "c" or "com" or what you set as "Shortcut" in keyboard, then you'll see the content ".com" appears in the prediction bar.

If you have any question, just leave a messege below.

OK thanks ... a bit closer... now the problem is that if i type a url and then the period character, and then the c key and tap the .com prediction, there is the original period then a space automatically added and then ".com".   So it doesn't really help - I thought triggering the .com prediction via the period key would solve this but cannot assign the period as a shortcut :(   Also cannot assign ".ca" to the same shortcut key. Boooo

um... where is it?!! Surely we're not the only ones requesting this feature! As this forum appears to be unmonitored by SwiftKey, I'll try making a feature request, but geez!
