    Hi,
Please attach SwiftKey version number, Android version number, and phone model.
I try to reproduce by following your description, but Google Voice Input is doing right.

Another thing is, SwiftKey doesn't have speech to text, aka voice input. It only has a trigger of Google Voice Input. So if you are sure it has a problem, I suggest you to report it to Google as well.

    Thank you.

    SwiftKey version number - 6.6.8.35

    Andriod version - 7.0

    phone model - S8

On my wifes S6 the words appear as you speak like voice dictation and are displayed in the text box , but on my S8 it does not happen, you get the popup google microphone but the words just appear in the popup box and you have then physically press that sentence for them to then appear in the swift ext box, if you understand me.

So the voice dictation works on the S6 but not on the S8

    Thanks for the info.

Our latest version 6.6.9.24 begins to roll out.

If you find this problem on the newer version, please let me know..

Meanwhile, I strongly feel that this problem is with Google App (which Google Voice Input bundled with). We may need more information from other S8 users.

I am having the same problem as well. When bringing up the microphone it gives me the google mic but doesn't type what I'm saying as I go, instead is types in a second window with a variety of spellings(?) - then I have to choose the one I want, touch it and then it inserts the text in the text/email/etc.

I just downloaded it and reinstalled because, just prior to this current problem, it wasn't flowing -- rather i had to type, letter by letter.

It worked as expected, for the first couple of days I had it installed on my galaxy s8+. I've used Swiftkey for a long time and I love the app - so much better than anything else out there!

Alpert said: "Our latest version 6.6.9.24 begins to roll out."  But, I'm on 6.6.9.32 -- presumably a version later than you suggest...?

    Samsung Galaxy S8+

    Android 7.0

    Swiftkey 6.6.9.32

    Samsung Experience Version 8.1

I'd be happy to provide any more information that might help solve this problem.

I had this issue myself, and I think I've found the fix (at least for my phone):

    Go into settings
Search for "keyboard" (without quotes) if you can
or simply go into "Language and input" (which might be under "General Management"
    Click on "Virtual keyboard"
    Click on "Manage keyboards"
    Activate "Google voice typing"

For my phone, this changed the behavior of voice-to-text so that the words now appear as I speak.

I hope this helps someone. It was driving me crazy for about an hour this morning.
