[Feature Request] Improve Predictions With Substitution List
Hi all -
I remain frustrated by behavior I see in all predictive keyboards including SwiftKey when using Flow/Swiping input and I would love it if you improve on this issue.
Some common words consistently get predicted wrong. ("and", "for", "work", etc), even if I remove the wrongly predicted word from my personal vocabulary (which isn't always effective anyway, because I still need the "wrong" word in other contexts).
I would like to see either
1. a mechanism for managing substitution preferences (for instance, I'd like to say that if "fur" is predicted, I want "for" to be the substitution. I could still type "fur" by tapping each letter, but Flow should default to use my preferred substitutions.
2. a way for SwiftKey to learn by observing how frequently I correct one predicted word to another an start using my correction by default going forward.
It really cuts down on the efficiency of Flow if I have to go back and correct so many words in my sentence or watch word by word as I am flowing.
SwiftKey is one of the best implementations (I have tried so many and always come back to SwiftKey), but this feature would make it even better.
Please consider this feature and/or teach me how I can improve using existing functionality (and FYI, I am using the latest Android SwiftKey Beta)
