    Can you please provide some more info. Device make, model, OS version. Examples of how and when it freezes.

    I tried fresh installs multiple times.  Motorola Droid Turbo 2, Android 7.0.

    Thanks. Do you remember what version of SwiftKey this started with? 

    Can you describe and or capture some video of when/how the lag and freeze happens?

    im also having these freezing issues with swiftkey, on my HTC OneX running android 4.2.2. swiftkey version is 6.7.7.17.

    swiftkey sometimes works if i power my screen on and off a couple of times. but google kb works 100% all the time.

    hope this helps.

    this has been happening for the last month or so, so ive finally moved back to google keyboard in the hope that it will be resolved with a future update.

    I switched to beta and it's much better. Lags every now and then, but no freezing in about 3 days.

    Any chance the new March 1st update will work on a Galaxy S8+ SM-G955U ??

    I have the S8 also and had the same random lockup/freeze happen at night several times. Several forums indicated it was app related and most said it was Swiftkey. Although I had a hard time believing it, I uninstalled the app over 6 weeks ago and no problems since. 

    Model: SM-G950U

    Android 7.0

    Swiftkey version: 6.7.8.25 (Says it updated on March 1 and sits in google library but not installed).

    There is a known issue with the HTC M7 and M9. We are working on it. See that main thread here:
