@Ryan P first of all, my name is not "Jess". I don't know who "Jess" is but it sure isn't me. Second of all, you said "Believe it or not there are people that like it." implying that you're one of them. Third of all, the negative response is so overwhelming and universal that it goes far beyond favorable voices being drowned out. This isn't simply a case where people who dislike something tend to be "louder". This is genuine dissatisfaction on the part of the overwhelming majority. So please don't spin some psychological yarn to justify continuing to force these MS emoji on us despite our clear and explicit opposition to them. There's no "silent majority" of people who like this change here who's simply being outshouted by the malcontents.

@RyanP please add an option to change the Emoji size they're way to small 😩

If you do a poll on it I'm sure you'll get a good response thanks 😳🤪

Hi, the size of the icons on some of the buttons like shift, emoji, delete return and a couple others has gotten very small and hard to see. I don't see an option in settings to adjust the size (not the button size, just the little symbols). I don't think I can include a screen shot.

Hey checking in. Any news on the future of this experiment? I am about to switch to the non beta Swiftkey because of this emoji situation.

I like the Microsoft emoji. However, the only sensible thing to do is keeping the system's emoji for reasons of consistency.

Like some others, I created an account just to express my frustration with this change. There is no reason that anyone I send a message to would ever see the Microsoft emoji set, since they'll either be seeing the Apple, Samsung, or Android set. This inconsistency also makes typing emojis a pain and I've had to switch back over to GBoard at times just to make sure I'm getting the right emoji. I am almost ready to switch back to regular switftkey since I can't trust that the microsoft emoji will map to the appropriate Android one I am trying to type.

@RyanP I understand that you were responding to some user overreaction, but the whole "if you don't like uncertainty" point is a bit of a slap in the face of the users helping field test changes to Swiftkey, particularly those who have stuck with the keyboard for years. Beta users are prepared for change, but a keyboard shouldn't be creating uncertainty around whether what users type will in fact be what ends up being typed.

Following suit, making an account just to express opinion. It should be a huge red flag about the distress of users going out of their way to make an account to point out a horrible flaw in feature. I won't attack you for it, but simply say that a business thrives on its user base, and if you piss enough people off they're gonna abandon loyalty. It's great to reinvent or switch things up once in awhile. But when the feedback is overwhelmingly negative, it's wiser to take the L and do what keeps your users happy. It really is a minor thing to lose a user base over. This should be a pretty clear choice. Another thing to note is the ability to switch something off. I have always been a fan of and more loyal to apps that make certain aesthetics optional. And if we're all being honest, those emojis are aesthetically quite ugly. Lol.

    Wow. That's just ridiculous.
I was afraid of things like this, when Microsoft bought it and now it has begun.
More and more Microsoft things are going to be added until its totally destroyed.
Just what they did to the old messenger for PC 😢

Uninstalled SwiftKey beta and went back to stable one because of that. No thanks for these emoji, guys if you could please STOP shoving stuff down our throat like this it'd be great. Same goes for the SwiftKey logo on the spacebar that is obnoxious on most of the themes. Stop trying to impose this branding, it's just tacky.

I don't like the emoji design it looks like a bad 90s throwback and the empireempire changechange anyways when you type them. The old ones looked closer to the actual emoji the system sends
