Just came from Swype and Swiftkey is absolute trash

I recently moved to Swiftkey from Swype because I just found out the devs have killed it off. Unfortunately the transition has been anything but smooth.https://vlc.onl/

Random gibberish: if I'm in the middle of swiping a word and (god forbid) I happen to swipe the tiniest amount o Appvalley ver the spacebar it will split whatever I'm swiping into two parts of random letters that aren't even English (or part of the intended word).

Tweakbox Prediction: is absolute garbage. I literally had to swipe over a word, slowly going over each individual letter before it even got close to my intended word

I swear this app used to better when I tried it years ago. What the hell happened? Am I doing something wrong or does it just now?
