Hello, thank you for your feedback. This is a decision made at Unicode level that affects most Indian scripts: vowels must be typed "after" consonants, even if they visually appear before. So according to Unicode rules, you would need to write the consonant first and then add the vowel and this should work for you. Unfortunately, this is not something that can be fixed on SwiftKey's level for now however your feedback has been passed onto our development team. Thank you.

Hi.. Same issue is rising again. Seems most of the issues related with consonants are resolved♥️. But still having issues with vowels with additional symbols like අා, අැ, අෑ, උෟ, ඔෟ etc. Also there is another sinhala script which combines ෙ and එ in the following order ඓ and when I type එ first and ෙ later, it produces එෙ.

    Please check and apply fixes.

Hi Buddhika Jayakody have you type the consonant first and then add the vowel? Does this address your query?

Deniz K this issue is still exist in new version. And even though you guys might fix the first issue by removing the other Sinhala Keyboard type. No one is using the Sinhala Keyboard. We only use the Sinhala (Inscript) Keyboard version. Which called as Wijesekara keyboard layout. I think it would fix the issue of constant first then the vowel which needs to type that we usually don't do. It's an error. We need to type vowel first then the constant. Even Google Keyboard English typing converts to Sinhala Without an error.

We just ask what Windows already has.

Why can't you guys port same thing to Android. Such a good keyboard you guys have and why won't you try to fix this two little errors.

Deniz K see this link. Over 4 years ago someone already reported the same issue and no solution yet. Typing incorrectly first constant and then vowel is not right at all. It's not how it should be or it's not the way it should be. First vowel then constant. Use and see windows unicode for Sinhala language. It is correctly working in there.

Hi Buddhika Jayakody thanks for the continued feedback. At this point, unfortunately this is not something that can be fixed on SwiftKey's level for now as according to Unicode rules, you would need to write the consonant first and then add the vowel and this should work for you. Please rest assured your feedback has already been passed on for further evaluation.

Hi Buddhika Jayakody and Tishan Harischandra would you be able to send a screen recording of the issue you mentioned apart from the vowel one by submitting a ticket here https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so that we can look into this further? Thank you.
