Word Prediction Continues To Offer Certain Words After Removal
BeantwortetI use the acronym "ASAP" in many of my texts, along with "ASAYC" and "ASAIC." When typing (in lower case) any of those acronyms, "asap," is the only one that doesn't pop up in all caps within at least 3 keystrokes. Instead, it only shows "asap" in the middle box, after I've entered "p." I've manually entered "ASAP" several times, and selected it from the prediction bar, attempting to "teach" SwiftKey. I've tried removing "asap" from predictions many times, but when I long-press on the prediction and tap OK to remove the prediction, it will not remove it, and "asap" stays in the middle box. "ASAYC" and "ASAIC" do not have the same issue, and will be predicted in all caps when typing in lower caps. Are there alternate methods to remove predictions other than long-pressing the word in question?
Hi Barry, while you can remove some learned words, static words can't be removed.
When you type asap and your cursor is at the end of your word, so the letter 'p' - please double tap on the Shift key to bring up ASAP. Does this work?
