Hi Martin, for us to investigate further, can you please confirm your OS and Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard version and confirm your enabled languages and layouts? Thanks.

    Hi Deniz,

Currently I'm using a OnePlus 8T running Android 11 with SwiftKey v7.8.3.5 (latest).
German (DE)  + English (US) language @ German layout

Hi Martin Angleitner, thank you for the information. I tried to reproduce the issue however I could not. If you could record a video, it would be helpful to see the issue. You can submit the video by creating a ticket via https://aka.ms/sk-support.

I just wanted to create the requested video and I probably just have figured out what's going on.

It might be related to the the gesture navigation. Which in my case means, that I've enabled the gestures and for going back I've to wipe my fingers from the left or the right edge of the display to the center (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JX4sNML0090&t=21s&ab_channel=pcshastra). I think this gesture is triggered, if I press the "1" or the "0" key on the touch keyboard. This causes a delay on my long press, because it seems that the phone is waiting for a swipe action first. After a second or so, it recognizes that I'm holding the finger on the same position without any move, then it goes to evaluate a long press on SwiftKey.

So I have to change the layout in that way it does not use the full width of my display. If there is a padding from about one millimeter , it seems to perform correctly, without triggering any navigation action.

Thank you for your patience and your support!
