Cannot find it even after following directions

Hey There,

I am not sure if others are facing the same issue as I am at the moment.

I searched the forum but didn't able to find the query about the Enter Key on the SwiftKey Keyboard.

It got disappeared after I updated from Play Store on Android to Version 6.3.1.91

I got this issue on Android  not sure for the iOS guys.

Help will be appreciated.

It's almost 2 months now.. I had to reset my phone, and now all my prescriptions and data are not syncing.

I checked my account data on the website, and it still there. I tried logging out of my account on the app, I tried deleting it and reinstalling, I've tried many things.

I've noticed that is no one is answering nor replying to everyone who is facing this problem.. I really really hope this is not permanent.. I've been using this keyboard since 2012! Imagine losing all that!

I can't use the "123" button when I typing on instagram stickers. The keyboard go in crash when I tap on the "123" button. So, is impossible for me add a user with some special characters in the nickname or put a question mark when I reply on a question stickers. Yes there is a solution and is tap on the letter and insert the special character, but why you never fix it?

I'd hoped this issue would have been fixed by now but it appears that it's not a very popular problem, and so I've decided to take it upon myself to provide the correct information to get it looked at. I have found a few other forum posts with the exact same issue, so I hope this helps you all too.

Here is the required information;

• Huawei P20 Pro - EE network, UK
• Android 8.1.0: Huawei's EMUI build, version CLT-L09 8.1.0.159(C782)
• Swiftkey version: 7.2.1.17
• Steps to reproduce:
• When typing in the standard layout QWERTY keboard, if pressing the "123" key in the very bottom-left of the keyboard, immediately and swiftly followed by punctuation such as a question mark (on the symbol/number layout that appears), the keyboard acts as though the "enter" key in the very bottom-right of the symbol keyboard is pressed before the punctuation you selected, despite not pressing it at all. This means that a new line begins before your punctuation, and it shouldn't. For example, if attempting to quickly type the word "What?" on the keyboard, you will get this instead:

• I have added a link below to a screen-recording of the issue. In the video, you will see the "?" and the "enter" keys both light up as though both are being pressed, however only the "?" is actually being pressed. What you should see is "What?", there should not be a new line added before the "?". This happens with other punctuation also, but as the "?" is the most frequently used, I thought I'd go with that for the video.

Importantly: This error does NOT happen if you restore the Swiftkey application to its original version via the Google Playstore. The issue only begins when updating the application, and so the bug must have inadvertently been included recently. I can't remember when the issue started, but it has been a few months and a handful of updates, and the issue still remains.

I hope this information is sufficient to locate and fix this bug, it's a real nut-ache for me as it happens 95% of the time I use punctuation after a word.

Option for turning on and off the vibration isn't working. Keeps on going back to main settings.

Why am I being asked for my age to verify a beta keyboard app? Is it in case I type rude words?

since i did a SwiftKey update some weeks ago, i got some problems with the prediction bar. Every time the keyboard pops up, the prediction bar is blocking stuff on my screen...but in a random way.

I only downloaded SwiftKey because GBoard won't read my personal dictionary every time my phone restarts so I have to delete data and reset all my preferences every time I buy phone turns on. But since you don't have a personal dictionary or shortcuts or anything like that I will be deleting this keyboard right away.

Hi.. Just got a new note 8. Downloaded the latest swiftkey version. Unfortunately, the cursor is VERY jumpy while typing and the keyboard seems like it's hyper sensitive compared to using it on my old note 5. Any progress with these issues?any way to tone down the sensitivity? I'm a big fan of SwiftKey, but it's nearly un-usable because of the jumpy cursor and sensitivity :(

The feature that I find the most annoying, and would like the option to turn off, is the auto move of the cursor to the end of the word. When I want to insert/correct a character, I press on the location within the word, and the cursor moves to the end of the word! I have all the arrow keys displayed at the bottom of the keyboard, so pressing on the location & adjusting with the arrow keys is super fast. Except the cursor jumps to the end of the word! I think this feature was added a couple of years ago. It still gets in the way. I haven't found a fast workaround, so an option to turn it off would be much appreciated.

When I type "god" the primary prediction is "God" but 99% of the time I am not evoking the Christian god, I am not using the word as a proper noun. I've deleted this prediction dozens and dozens of times but it's always the primary prediction,and though it does show "god" on the left prediction it means I have to press it to get it to say what I want when I should just be able to hit space and move on. Is there a fix for this?

SwiftKey has recently introduced an en/bn layout where one can type in english keyboard to write both English and Bengali. It's quite good.
In Bengali, we use 'dari' (।) in place of a period. But that layout has no '।' symbol for easy access. So, whenever I finish writing a sentence in Bengali, I have to switch to the general বাংলা (Bengali) layout, add '।', and then again switch back to en/bn layout. This is really convoluted. My suggestion is to add '।' as a secondary option in the ',' key on the left of space bar.
In any case, please do something about it.

Great other wise

When I tap on text to correct in a text message the options come up in a little black window in which it is almost impossible to read the options.  How do I change these colors to be readable?  No matter what theme I use the background for this little window is black and the words are black and faint gray.

I am using SwitfKey for a long time, but desperatly want to switch to mostly any other keyboard software, because since years, there are two catastrophic design flaws in the app, which could be solved in minutes of programming time:

1) The optional numeric bar just shows the numbers 1 to 0, and has no second layout... why! Every keyboard on this planet has easy access to ! for example on number key 1, but not SwiftKey

2) For Germany layout, it is catastrophic to access most important keys like ö ä ü ß in SwiftKey. For example: if you hold key u, the default selection is "<" instead of "ü" ... WHY!!! This is the most annoying thing for German customers.

Please change default selection for uoa to üöä.

Give easy and fast access to !?ß. The access through . is a mess and breaks usage flaw on normal keyboards.

Give option to manipulate the key layout and change keys you want to have.

Just recently my enter changed from being able to add a new line to sending the message. I really wish I could switch this back. If it's in the settings, I CANNOT find it.

I got a new phone and installed the app and signed in with the account that I was using on my old phone. However, after running the sync operation, none of my old predictions are showing up. I still have my old phone and I'm able to confirm that both of them have backup and sync configured and both of them are signed in with the same account ID. Any suggestions?

Keyboard seemingly randomly switched layouts so the top row now starts with "azerty" and the keys are all switched around. How do I return it to the standard "qwerty" layout?

Is there a way to stop the automatic space after a period?

Most of my typing is in regards to IP addresses, email address and the like. 

Most of the time I do not want a space following the period. Perhaps an option in the settings area would help.

The pinned items from the clipboard gets deleted themselves after an hour or little more. I'm facing the problem since last 2-3 weeks. .
I'm using oneplus 5 on Android version 8.0.0 & Oxygen OS 5.0.4. The SwiftKey version installed on my mob is 7.0.3.19. I have auto update enabled for apps so I always have latest version of apps.

Previously on an older version of my phone or possibly an older version of the OS on my phone I was able to see the text as I spoke it with voice recognition. This has since changed. It now shows a mic button and then shows a half dozen interpretations of what I said. I would like to switch it back to see the words as I type. Is that possible?

Sometimes the Toolbar icons become invisible and can't be seen - it's just a blank bar. The buttons can still be pressed but I have to guess their positions.

When I'm typing on another forum the keys have stopped working properly and even when I tap the prediction words it puts in other things. Often pressing spacebar pus in letters like T randomly. Just now trying to type T with a period after wouldn't let me.

It's seems most problematic on that site.

 As the title indicates, the keyboard's size always goes back to "small" every time I reboot the phone. I have tried changing to various sizes but I keep getting the same result.
I also tried reinstalling, and even tried out the beta version.

Using Lava A3 phone with android marshmallow.
Swiftkey ver. 6.7.3.30

While trying to login to my swiftkey account, when I try to use my Google account, and it just loops back to browser. I tried it with my Microsoft account as well and it just keeps looping back to browser.
I'm using an LG V20, if that is a factor.
