I'd like to ask you to consider adding new shortcut symbols to the letters 'g' and 'v'.
In serbian qwertz layout, I can only type '-' by long-pressing 'g' and " ' " by long pressing 'v'.
Could you please add dash ('–') to the 'g' and ' „ ” ' to the 'v'?
I believe many users would be thankful.
Thank you in advance!

After many years using SwiftKey I think I moving on. My biggest problem is that, I accidentally hit the "." key 50% of the times I am trying to hit space. I don't know why this started to happen, but I noticed I don't have this problem with other keyboards. It would be really great if that key could be dislocated slightly to the right, or have a feature to simply disable it.
Huawei mate 20 pro Beantwortet1 Stimme 1 Kommentar
I moved from a Samsung s8 to a huawei mate 20 phone. While SwiftKey is installed, i cannot find it between all the programs installed. How is it possible? Where shall I look for it? I cannot go every time to Google play, search for SwiftKey and, since is installed, open from there. Any help? Thanks
Chalkboard Blue Theme and Navbar Color0 Stimmen 0 Kommentare
I prefer the Chalkboard Blue theme but the navbar color seems to match the top of the keyboard instead of the darker gray at the bottom so it doesn't look seamless. This isn't urgent by any means but if the colors matched it'd be perfect. I'm using Swiftkey Beta on a Galaxy S8+ with Android Pie. Thank you!

[Duplicate] Switching between pinyin and handwriting Beantwortet3 Stimmen 2 Kommentare
Until recently I have been able to easily switch between handwriting and pinyin when using the chinese(Tw) keyboard. By long pressing the "numbers and symbols" - button(bottom left) swiftkey would change between the layouts.
This has been very convenient for me as I'm trying to learn Chinese and being able to use both handwriting and pinyin makes the practice easier for me.
This feature seems to be gone now(I'm not able to do it anymore at least). Is it any means to get it back?
I want to use Swiping with some Gestures that GoogleKeyboard has0 Stimmen 0 Kommentare
I switched from Google Keyboard to SwiftKey because Google Keyboard is inaccurate with knowing what words I'm getting at when I swipe. SwiftKey, in my week of use, seems to be better.
But I miss the gestures that Googe Keyboard has:
1. You can swipe left from the Backspace button to delete word for word. It's a fast way of deleting stuff. Deleting with Swift is slow. You have to hold the backspace key, and then there's a delay. And this just deletes one word at a time.
2. You can swipe on the spacebar to move left and right on the text you've typed. Very handy and easier to see where your cursor is, as opposed to tapping your finger over the words. Your finger blocks the view.
Can I have both the accuracy that I'm enjoying with SwiftKey swiping with the gestures of Google Keyboard?

For about two weeks now right and left swipes from the full stop key do not result in a question mark and exclamation mark anymore. One has to switch to the numeral keyboard to get them this is a major bummer!
SwiftKey isn't learning1 Stimme 0 Kommentare
I've been using SwiftKey for years, but SwiftKey just does not remember when I long press and tell it to "remove prediction" when typing things. I've tried to search for the subject, I've tried navigating the options, but nothing is working. I'm logged in to an account. I'm tired of constantly correcting the keyboard. The most frequent words I can think of are god (SK thinks it's a proper name maybe?) , and ok (as in "allright", not Oklahoma). There's quite a few more.
Why does SwiftKey not remember when I tell it to remove the prediction? Can anyone help with this? It's ridiculous this bug is still in the app.

When you fix the erase wipe to make it softer and use the space bar to move between words and letters in the text
Please add that, and the more the sweep that is somewhat annoying delete a text and you delete more Than planned

Windows 10 SwiftKey isn't learning!0 Stimmen 1 Kommentar
So, I've been experimenting with Windows 10 SwiftKey, and it seems pretty useless right now. On Android, SwiftKey immediately learned that "rstudio" is supposed to be corrected to "RStudio". On Windows 10, I never get a prediction of "RStudio" when I'm typing 'rstu' or whatever.
This to me is an indication that
1) the learning algorithm used on Android isn't present on Windows 10, and
2) the SwiftKey data collected on my Android phone don't seem to be accessible to my Windows 10 device (even though I'm logged into the same Microsoft account).
Those are two independent issues that both need addressing in my estimation. Hope to hear from you!
PS: I randomly put this question in the Android forum because there isn't a Windows support forum at the moment.

SwiftKey merges different languages as same language0 Stimmen 2 Kommentare
I'm Swiss and depending on whether I write formally or write with friends, I write a slightly different German.
Formally I write in Standard German, and informally I write in Swiss German.
Fortunately, SwiftKey offers German (CH) and German (DE) as two distinct languages. Both use the QWERTZ layout.
Unfortunately, SwiftKey merges them together as a single keyboard layout.
This is very annoying, as I would rather have distinctly trained predictions for the two variations.
Is there any way to have these two languages as distinct layouts that I can switch between? That would be very helpful!
Can emoji prediction "white background" be disabled?0 Stimmen 1 Kommentar
I have "emoji predictions" un-checked in settings, on my Samsung Galaxy S10 with Android 9.0. So there is no emoji shown on the suggestion bar when I type words like "pizza" and "time".
However the word itself gets a white background, apparently indicating to me that there IS a suggested emoji I can choose if I want to. And then if I tap on the word with the white background, the background changes to black (and text changes color to white) and a popup appears with the set of emoji suggestions which I can then choose or not.
All well and good, but I don't need it and find myself distracted as I type by the random words appearing with white background. They're not misspelled, and they're not unfinished or anything. They're perfectly fine just the way they are.
I'd like to disable this feature, so that special words never get a white background. This is how it is currently working for me on my S7 with Android 8.0. I just got this S10 and the settings for Swiftkey are identical to those on the S7, and yet I get this white background behavior on the S10 but not on the S7.
Seems I recall having this symptom on my S7 years ago, and discovered that setting for "emoji prediction". I think it might have been on by default when this functionality was first released, and by un-checking it the white background issue disappeared.
But I've got it un-checked on the S10 as well, and yet the only thing it seems to control is whether or not the suggested emoji shows up on the right side of the suggestion bar or not, and that works fine. But it doesn't prevent the white background behind the word (and thus the ability to replace the word with an emoji if I want to) from appearing. This seems to be permanent, and not preventable... on the S10, but not the S7.
Am I missing something? Is this by design? If I want to insert an emoji somewhere (perhaps at the end of a sentence of paragraph) I can do it manually, when I want to. I don't ever compose text or email with imbedded emoji, but rather only write words to my recipients.
I'd like to know how to prevent this white background behind word emoji-suggesting behavior if it's available. If not, I'd like to suggest that it be made a settings option.

Problems with Samsung Dex & Bluetooth keyboard0 Stimmen 0 Kommentare
Problems with Samsung dex and Bluetooth keyboard. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and one of the features I like most about it is the Samsung Dex option to use it as a low powered desktop for basic tasks and have all of my apps open. This is the same functionality for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, S8 and S8+, S9, S9+ and S10E, S10, and S10+.
The problem I am encountering is with Swiftkey. When connected with a bluetooth keyboard the keyboard predictions never let the screen turn off. If I turn off my screen and continue to use it in Dex mode and go to a field ot type, it pulls up the suggestion bar. I have gone through the settings for the physical keyboard and disabled every single option but nothing works. I can do this with the standard Samsung keyboard, because it has an option to disable it when a bluetooth keyboard is connected, but not swiftkey.
If you'd like I can share pictures or video of this functionality.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this.
Thank you very much for your time,

Blackberry Keyone & the symbols key on physical keyboard using Swiftkey0 Stimmen 0 Kommentare
Hi, I have a Blacberry Keyone it uses a physical keyboard , my Swiftkey is setup in English & French Canadian everything works fine except when pressing the physical symbol key the virtual keyboard that opens up gives me a very small choice of symbols, there is no & , % , $ , ?, numbers etc. half of the few choices i don't know what they even mean. As oppose to using the stock Blackberry physical keyboard when i press the same symbol key on the physical keyboard the virtual keyboard that opens up gives me a full set of symbols like the &?%$#+_)( , all the numbers etc, is there a way in the settings to have the same or a similar set of symbols with Swiftkey when pressing the physical symbol key on my Blackberry ? Thank you

Dear Swiftkey team, please increase the size of the compact layout. On an A50 (Pie, One UI, Standard Samsung Launcher and fonts) it's unusable. Otherwise I'd need to switch to Gboard.
