Updating a language isn't working. How do I fix it?

SwiftKey has a resilient language model download service. If you have trouble, make sure you have enough space on your SD card and try re-downloading the language with a strong data connection (such as Wi-Fi).

If the issue continues, please try the below steps.

  1. Go to your device's 'Settings' menu
  2. Tap 'Apps'
  3. Find 'SwiftKey Keyboard' from your app list
  4. Tap 'Storage'
  5. Select 'Clear data'
  6. Uninstall the application 
  7. Download SwiftKey from the Google Play Store and install again
