Why can't I personalize on SwiftKey for iOS?

On iOS it's possible to personalize SwiftKey through your contacts, as well as your Facebook, Twitter and Gmail accounts.

Personalization can fail for multiple reasons. Please try the following steps to remedy the issue.

  1. Manually quit out of the SwiftKey app.
  2. Try signing out of your SwiftKey Account and then back in.
  3. Try deleting the SwiftKey app altogether and reinstalling it.

If you are unable to personalize from your Contacts, go to your device Settings > Privacy > Contacts. Check that SwiftKey has been enabled.
