Why do my words keep being replaced by emoji in Swiftmoji for Android?

Swiftmoji has a feature that allows you to search for an emoji by typing keywords. This means that, for example, you could type the word 'dog', then tap a dog emoji from the emoji prediction bar to replace the typed word with the emoji.

Your word will only be replaced if it hasn't yet been fully entered (i.e. by tapping spacebar). You'll know if your word has not yet been entered because it will remain underlined.

Please note this behavior only occurs when using the emoji prediction bar and from the 'More Suggestions' panel on the emoji panel - using emoji from the rest of the emoji panel will not replace your word. It's not possible to disable this feature.
