Predict emoji while typing, after deleting this prediction behavior by mistake.
AnsweredI, by mistake, did hold my finger on an emoji prediction and chose to "removed it from predictions".
Now, after training it to predict this certain emoji in a couple of phrases, it won't predict it if I won't type the phrase FIRST and then choose it, instead of as before, get the emoji predicted while typing...
To be specific. When beginning to type "Ha" or "haha or "hahaha" it used to show the emoji prediction (based on my use) of 😂.
I've tried to "train" it, and it do recognize it, but I need to type the whole phrase, or press the prediction of the phrase FIRST, instead of directly predicting the emoji to enable me to press it directly, instead of pressing the phrase, then the emoji, go back two steps, delete the phrase....
Hi,
In that case I recommend you back up your SwiftKey data (SwiftKey > account > backup & sync).
Once it's done you're good to go : Android setting > apps > SwiftKey > clear data.
You'll need to re login after the clear data done. And normally it would reset the emoji prediction.

Hi,
Thank you, that actually worked. It crossed my mind to do it but I thought this change would be synced, thus rendering this procedure useless.
Is this a bug or, what actually happens technically when I remove a prediction like this?
The emoji prediction history is stored locally, like every app else (Gboard, TouchPal, etc), as well as other apps which contains emoji (FB messenger, etc).
And for all these apps, to reset emoji history is by reset the app, which means clear data.
