Swiftkey slows down when in certain apps

I had been using swiftkey before and was a huge fan of its flawless service. But after a while I realized the keyboard slows down just a little bit when in certain apps. Right now as I am typing, I can notice a lag. However this comes in only a few apps. I am typing this in chrome. But if i switch over to whatsapp or messenger right now, it becomes very smooth. In Evernote and Wunderlist, the lag is so bad that I thought the keyboard got so bad and deleted it. I desperately want to keep using swiftkey. Somebody please tell me what's going on and help me find a solution.

    Phone - Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime
    Android 6.0.1
    Swiftkey version - 6.5.8.26

    I've ensured that no other apps were clogging up the memory whilst I was using Swiftkey.

    No performance optimizing apps are being used that could restrict the keyboard.

    The app is always the latest version since its auto updated..

    I think i know what you face it's like the keyboard need more power to be smooth again specially when use it with Facebook messenger or when my phone on charge face the same bug too

    Thanks @John, I'll check this out with the mod team.

    @Ibrahim, it's very noticeable in FB messenger, if I understood correctly? I don't understand when phone is on charge...Normally charging or not won't affect the performance, except when the QC makes your phone really hot.
