Please, give us back Pitch theme. Or make Pulse white, we need it so much!

I am afraid to upgrade though.  I tried some 4.xxx version before, because I didn't know how far back I had to go, and when I upgraded that version all my phone did was to install the new version *in addition to* the older Trial version.  So didn't solve the problem.  6.6.022 is recent enough though, that I'll just stick with this version until they fix it for everyone with the latest version.  Really a shame though.  I wouldn't think it should take this long for them to fix it.

You do have to be careful about where you download it.  The first site I tried, the filename had some dot com file within "SwiftKey ..." around it, and that didn't look right at all.

I had been trying Edge Blue, and Neptune Blue.  If the outline part for each key was completed around each key, then maybe you'd have winners for these two.  And why isn't there a Pulse Blue?  But the same thing, complete the outline around each key, for Pulse Blue too.  OK, Neon *is* Pulse Blue.  :-)  Ha ha, if you added Neon (Pulse Blue) to Neptune Blue, you'd have each key completely outlined!

Kevin - I really wouldn't worry about updating from the Play store, I have done this over the top of v6.6.022 on 3 seperate devices as a test and it worked fine in all 3 cases and reatined my themes. It's your call obviosuly, but if you remain on the sideloded version you might be missing other features and there is no teling when (or if) the devs will fix this theme issue - after all SwiftKey is now owned by Microsoft ;-(

i miss pumkin - the only one i use and ever used. Please bring it back or send a gift code where we can install it

I bought Swiftkey on playstore when you had to pay for it and i bought pumkin also. So i want my theme back!!!!!!!

Dale - I might try, thanks.  :-)  (I have a tablet and a phone.)  One more thing though, I liked the emoji selection better from the older versions too.  Can't pinpoint why yet, but there's that as well.

Just adding my name to the list. I loved Pumpkin and have been using it since I bought the app 5 or 6 phones ago.

Also, I know someone sideloaded an old version, but they deleted the link. For those that were successful what site did you go to or what was the file name?

Links get deleted, but you can search via Google for "swiftkey older versions" and the first entry in the list from is swiftkey-keyboard uptodown which is the site I used, the file name is  6.6.0.22. Hope this helps.

I'm about ready to leave SwiftKey behind due to the removal of the Holo theme. Did your design team beta test the readability of your current themes with anyone? I can't use any of them due to the awful contrast.

Thanks it works with version 6.6.022 but nit if you then try to use beta keyboard, only the basic one 😠

I had to factory reset my tablet and discover that Pumpkin theme is missing when I installed SwiftKey. I paid for this ap about 5-6 years ago and have used Pumpkin ever since both on my phone and tablet. There is now no good high contrast keyboard available on SwiftKey and many of the themes that are available  appear to be totally similar to each other. I feel that I have been absolutely  let down by SwiftKey who have imposed change on its customers for no reason other than change for change sake, maybe a case of bored developers justifying their existence by trying to convince us that they are making "improvements". Well, I suppose I will find somebody else who can offer me a good high contrast keyboard, in the meantime yet again I have learnt the hard way not to pay for apps when there are free alternatives available 

I am a French user,
I am very happy to see that I am not alone in using the Pumpkin theme.
I have friends who installed Swiftkey for this theme there when they saw it on my phone.
Unfortunately this one no longer exists in the list of themes.
Give it to us quickly, please.

@Ryan P, any news on recreating the themes using the new theme engine?

Come on Swiftkey!! should we beg for bringing back our loved themes? this is not fair and also not good! I will return back to Samsung Native Keyboard rather than just being as a homeless asking for a peace of bread from Swiftkey!

Please bring back Pumpkin and Forest!  My two favorites are not available on my new tablet :(

Seriously.. I paid for the app, once upon a time and the Pumpkin theme. All, literally ALL of the new themes are terrible. I am super disappointed with your actions and also your responses on this forum. This whole situation reminds me of United Airlines dragging paying customers off airplanes. I have worked in the software industry for 22 years and am not the first to tell you, you chose poorly. This would have been easy to plan for. Goodbye.

Well, I have tried unsuccessfully 4 times to install previous versions of the app. Seems that each one I've tried (from two different sites), including version 6.6.022, loads up a version that has only the currently available themes.  It's almost like they aren't old versions or the app overrides on installation with only the current version.

Kevin - Keep trying, this is the same site that I got my 6.6.022 from, and then look under "Yours" and page down.  They should be there.  Maybe try to uninstall any other SwiftKey versions 1st.

I've had nothing but problems trying to install 6.6.0.22

It works fine, I can install my favorite old theme Pitch but it wont update beyond 6.6.0.22 it hangs and then gives me an error message and eventually Swiftkey becomes unstable and my phone defaults to another keyboard. Ive tried this four separate times. I've had trouble finding something close to Swiftkey but eventually settled on Smart Keyboard. It's very similar to Swiftkey and it does have several well defined keyboard themes.

I've heard that Swiftkey was recently sold to Microsoft. If so, it makes sense that Swiftkey would change something beloved by its userbase [see Start Button, Windows 8] without taking into consideration that our favorite theme might be a large part of why we use their product. Also if anyone from Swiftkey is reading this, I, and it seems like a whole lot of others, picked our themes not because it looked good with our phones. We picked them because, for us, the keyboard was easier TO SEE!

How will we know when you have repaired your screw up? Do we have to keep checking this forum? Paid for this app years ago and have been using pumpkin ever since it became available. 

I had to reset my Note 10.1 2014 today. And am adding my voice to the outcry over the removed Forest and pumpkin themes. As others mentioned, I'm also a long time user that paid for a version of SwiftKey that had the said themes included. Please bring them back. At least I still have pumpkin on my note 4 and a TWRP backup of my Note 10.1 2014 which I don't want to install right away as I'm still troubleshooting the issue that forced me to do a complete OS reinstall. 

Update to the above. Downloaded the 6.6.0.22 and I now also have my Forest theme back. 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈

In the latest SwiftKey Beta 6.6.4.14, the themes have not been restored.

Another very unhappy customer for removing holo theme. Please bring it back as an add-in as quickly as possible!

Hi all, I have download older  version 6.6.0.22 from Apkmirror (i think about that is safest source for downloading apps for sideloading installations) and removed themes are back - except the Huawei theme. After update to the last version from Play Store, removed themes still in place and can be selected.
