Clips in clipboard
AnsweredIs there a way to to automatically save the clips on clipboard? The clips get deleted after 1 hour but I don't want them to be deleted. I know pining them will solve the problem but I want a permanent solution so that my copied items can stay in clipboard forever without needing to pin them individually.
I think you missed the tips we gave in app: pin the clip so it won't be deleted after one hour.
The "one hour" rule is recommended by Android clipboard security.
I, understand but I wanted a way to automatically pin clips, pinning them individually is kind of tedious, since I don't even remember that I have clips until I need them.
I need the same, actually it has only limited memory to remember clips, please increase the limt of clipboard to remember more
Or give the.option to change the time, or disable it (with a security warning if needed).
The advice given is not helpful: "pin the clip you want to keep more than hour". You can not know which information you put into clipboard once during the day, will be very practical to get from there, or may be necessary or essential or for you a later time. Clipboard items were available to the user by means of clipboard apps for the preferred duration/number of items/size (in terms of memory they use). This was possible by means of several apps previously, but Android 10 blocked them. Swiftkey can seize this opportunity, and provide this option of keeping items more than one hours (like 24 hours) can be an option and can be disabled by default. Users who need them can choose it. This is not hard. This android 10 limitation is a setback and derogation. The access rights to clipboard is only given to apps like keyboard apps but Swiftkey is not helping.
