    Hello everyone

this should now be fixed. I don't believe there is anything you need to do on your end. Sign in and force a sync.

    Let us know.

    Hi,

Can you try to log out then re log in to your account?

Yep, it's a built-in app, you can try to clear data, that should reset it.

     Hey Alpert,

I have tried this to no avail. I've also gone so far as to perform a factory reset on the phone. Still didn't work.

It tells me I have 8181 words added to my custom dictionary...but none show up and it still says it isn't synced.

I have a similar problem after an unexpected phone reboot. Lost all my configuration, and had nothing to sync.

Is there any way to recover my info?
Didn't find total words in by dictionary. Thanks

I have the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 10.1 2014 Edition... I tried both the SwiftKey and SwiftKey Beta apps and my personal dictionary isn't working... The Backup & Sync option just shows Last Sync: Not synced... When I press the sync now button nothing happens... This IS a bug in the app because this problem can't possibly happen on both my devices at the same time after an update!

Same for me! Maybe there is something wrong with the synchronization servers or however they backup the files. Can't be a conicedent that so many people have the same problem suddely.

    EDIT:

Noticed the problem as I reset my phone.

    SwiftKey Version: 6.7.0.18

    Android Version: 7.0

    Phone: Honor 8

I'm on the same beta 6.7.1.20 on HTC U11 with 7.1.1, I have no sync problem. If it's a bug of the app regardless device, then it should happen to me as well.

I'll leave a message to the team Monday.

    Image attached:

If unluckily it happens to you, then please leave following details:

    • SwiftKey version #
    • Android version #
    • Phone model

It will help us to locate the problem more quickly.

    SwiftkKey 6.7.0.18

For what it's worth, I had no issues on the G6 or S8 that I had earlier this week.

I wonder how you guys found the issue. Coz myself I hardly check the sync.

Did you change your phone or updated SwiftKey login method recently?

I think that this is a problem on the server side. I hope that the developers will soon fix it.

Same thing here with One Plus 5.
SwiftKey and beta won't sync and pressing the sync now button does nothing.

I am also trying to transfer to a new phone. Both old and new phones are running 6.7.0.18. On the old phone, hitting the sync button does successfully run a sync. But on the new phone, nothing happens. The account ids are the same on both phones. I've tried logging out and back in. If I can't get my history, and have to start over, I'll just stick with gboard, since I know it'll always work.

Same thing here. I had my Samsung Galaxy S8 in the repair shop and got it back yesterday reset. Installed SwiftKey but the sync isn't working. Trying to force update with the "refresh" button doesn't do anything.

this is an SwiftKey old issue, something similar happened a while ago and it took weeks to solve it, hopefully this time it will not be the same

Hello everyone, we will look into this issue and update you via this thread.

It's most likely not device or OS specific, but we will come back to this thread if we need further information.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
