Can't use Japanese on iPhone, what a drag!

I've been a happy user of SwiftKey for years on my Android phone, never had an issue with it, always seamless and easy to use. I've just switched to a new iPhone and Japanese is not offered for iPhone users, this is surprising to say the least and very disappointing. I was able to simply swipe the spacebar to the right to change between English & Japanese which was perfect. I am a native English speaker but live in Japan and need to text, search, etc. in both languages. I find it hard to believe that SwiftKey does not offer Japanese for iPhone but only for Android. I'm going to have to look to another app that can do that for me, too bad really.
