Horrible emoji button options

I've been a customer ever since 2012. After all these years, I was very close to giving you a terrible rating on the Google Play Store, but I refrained and thought I'd give feedback here instead (for now).

The problem is that your the emoji button options are terrible. Whether the dedicated button or the enter button option, I'm always fat fingering and pulling up the emoji screen. Yes, I've tried both placement options. I've searched your forum, and all of your "answers" to complaints about emojis is to tell people to toggle one option or the other. That is not a solution, as both options are horrible.

I'm well past the age that I use emojis regularly (i.e., I'm older than 15). I don't need an emoji button to take up valuable space-a few mm for the comma button, but twice that size for emojis? Really? From all the posts I've seen, I'm not alone in hating your emoji options. It's not a feature; it's swiftkey making a screen of characters laugh at you for having imperfect typing skills. 

Please fix this or someday I'm going to emoji-rage, uninstall your keyboard, give you a 1 star rating, and put a curse on all of your progeny.
