Hey its been a week now and it's still not good, any updates on the way? I think it's a Samsung thing because it seems like all the complaints or at least most of the complaints are from Samsung users.
An update to the general release app came out today... You would THINK they would have sent out an update to beta users to make sure this issue was fixed before they rolled the update out to the rest of the world.
I mean it sorta makes sense though that the other app gets the update first, it's used more than the beta app. But the fact that it's been weeks since this problem began and nothing of note has been done to fix this is really annoying. Oh well, at least the stable version of the app is still just as good. It's just that I like getting new updates earlier.
Note9 SwiftKey Beta user here. JUST started having this problem a couple hours ago - although I believe it happened once or twice in the past week but I was able to fix it with a force stop of the app so I didn't think anything of it - now nothing fixes it. I've tried everything I could think of, short of uninstalling and reinstalling it (was trying to see if there was another fix first), but no joy. I've had to switch back to regular SwiftKey in the meantime (which meant going through the settings rigamarole) and am VERY unhappy about this. The original post is from 17 DAYS AGO and the problem persists? I even checked to make sure I hadn't somehow missed the update (despite having auto-updates enabled). And I must say, I disagree that regular SwiftKey users should get the update first - Beta users might be a smaller group, but we're also the (admittedly willing) guinea pigs which means we're the first line of defense if there's a butthurty bug/glitch, acting as happy martyrs for the greater keyboard-using good (I know - I'm aggrandizing for effect). And I believe that should easily buy us priority when it comes to releasing the patch for said bug/glitch. You'll just lose beta testers otherwise. Which might not mean a whole lot to the developers (or Microsoft) but maybe it should. I'm gonna give it a few days and if Beta still isn't fixed, I'm gonna start looking at other keyboards because why would I use even the regular app if this is how they treat their beta testers?
I got ready to respond to my text message and noticed that the keys were all over the place. It took me forever to response to a simple message. How do I return the typing keys to the normal method? If it cannot be resolved quickly by Swiftkey, they I have no alternative but to change to my regular phone keys. So, SWIFT KEY please respond and do not take anyone for granted and forget about us. Thank you!!

Since last 2 updates, when I press spacebar twice to punctuate or press dot, sometimes it removes the previous text. Please fix this problem
The update to fix the missing keys is out on the Play store. Get it
Confirmed! I got my keyboard back!
Fixed here! 👍

The swftkey is running on some passive issues that are responsible for its degradation in the market. I also use swiftkey.
