10-key only keypad
Enhancement request: I'm not sure where to request this but most other keyboards have a 10-key, numbers only keypad. It shows up when you click their 123 key on the main keyboard (usually the bottom left area). It is also part of most home, or larger laptop keyboards, on the right side. Several folks have made similar requests to Swiftkey, even as far back as 3 years ago and the "answered" reply is never a good answer. Can we get this in the paid app one day or do the developers not know how to? I would think it would be as simple as rearranging the number screen that you already have but in a 10-key arrangement. A row of numbers isn't good enough and is hard to use. We already get a row of numbers on the main keyboard so the one offered now doesn't really add anything for the users. If you want to see an acceptable keypad, for example, take a look at Gboard's numeric keyboard. If there is a place to officially make this request, can you please forward this to that forum or the developers todo list? Thanks.
There IS a 10-key number pad triggered by the 123 button on the bottom left. are you wanting the other math symbols to be removed from that so it's ONLY numbers?
I'm wanting a 10-key pad in a square orientation not a row of numbers. It really doesn't matter to me if there is room for other symbols or not as long as the numbers are arranged in a 789, 456, 123, *0# ... Or a 123, 456, 789, *0# orientation
It's clearly there for me. 🤷♂️
I have the same request. What I believe Jeff Miller is asking about is having the number pad laid out like an accountant's 10 key, which has numbers 7-8-9 at the top of the pad. Something along these lines:
I would love to see this feature implemented too!
Jeff,
It's a setting that needs to be changed. Please see this article...
