Hi Ahmed, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Do you experience this only with your Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard or does it happen with any other third party keyboard?

    Hello,

Thanks for the quick response , I do experience this with Gboard also, only Samsung keyboard is working perfectly with the haptic . I guess it would be better if you can test from your side and confirm

Hi Ahmed Ahmadi, thanks for checking. Since this happens with other keyboards too, we suggest contacting your device manufacturer for more information as it seems to be related to your device.

Hi Deniz K  , this is swift keyboard issue on Samsung phones , its not only my issue , if you ask anyone who owns  a Samsung mobile and  tried both Samsung keyboard and SwiftKey , he can confirm the same issue , if it was my issue only then in this case I would contacted Samsung before posting to this forum , but since its an issue related to all Samsung phones particularly with SwiftKey ,then there is something wrong that Samsung wont allowing SwiftKey to take the advantage of the vibration motor . please check from your side and get a Samsung phone with oneplus phone for example , and you will notice the difference .

Hi Ahmed Ahmadi since this happens with any third party keyboard on your device (with Gboard as well), it would be best to contact your device manufacturer for more information on settings as this seems to be related to your device settings.

Hi Ahmed Ahmadi out of curiosity, have you tried disabling the android default vibration option on your SwiftKey settings and set the keypress vibration manually?

Hi Deniz , yes i did , as I mentioned in my first post , I tried reduce it to 5ms but it didn't work as it should. when you hit any key you feel like the vibration motor is very cheap while its not , that's why I suggest you guys to communicate with Samsung and I am sure you can sort it out , I dont think Samsung did this by purpose , there is something that probably not letting the keyboard to take advantage of the haptic properly and this is only on Samsung phones , as i said before , I tried it with oneplus 8 pro and oneplus 7 pro and it was way way better

Hi Ahmed, thanks for getting back. I'll pass the feedback onto our team however I would still suggest to check with your device manufacturer too, to see if they can provide more information on your device settings.
