How do you disable russian-ukrainian transliteration?
AnsweredI've looked at forums, support, feature requests but nothing works. I want to disable transliteration - predicting the act of vandalism against the language I am using, invented in Microsoft-owned (and ruined) SwiftKey.
Problem: I type in Ukrainian "we", "ми". It immediately corrects Ukrainian word into Russian "мы" despite:
A) letters being in absolutely different locations
B) me typing in UKRAINIAN language, and not switching to Russian at any point
C) me disabling this prediction many times already
There are other similar predictions, but the case mentioned is the most frequent.
What I want: an option not to predict words that have letters not found in the keyboard I'm using. To ONLY predict words from the SAME keyboard I am using. Hopefully, this is clear enough, as it wasn't clear for the last 3 years after the feature was requested. Maybe it was requested prior, but I found a long list of requests to disable this nonsense starting 3 years ago, which was "fixed" yet the option is missing for a lot of people, myself included.
Hi Yurii Predborskyi transliteration is not available for Russian and Ukrainian. You can find the languages supporting this feature here: Which languages support Transliteration and how does it work in Microsoft SwiftKey for Android? – SwiftKey Support
Currently there isn't a language switch option and your predictions are based on the languages and learned words however you can submit a feature request via https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and we will pass it onto the right team.
