Probably 85% of the mistakes I have to correct are the result of hitting the period key instead of the space bar. Can we have an option to move it, or make it a hard-press or long-press, or.....something. It's my only significant problem with an otherwise outstanding keyboard. Thanks much.

The browser window pops up for a second and force closes. All the other ones are working. I am logged into Twitter on my device on the stock app.

I have English (QWERTY) and Farsi languages installed. Prior to today I could choose between English and Farsi but now I have Farsi and English/Farsi. With the latter I get predictions in both languages and I don't want this. How can I get back to having English and Farsi separately?

 I used an Android Nexus 5 for many years with swiftkey. I really liked the keyboard layout with the numbers on top row and symbols among the letters, where you press a bit longer to get the number or symbol. 

I switched to an iPhone and immediately put swiftkey on thinking it would be the same, but no. The numbers and symbols are hidden in another keyboard. I hate this. I always end up hunting for a symbol I'm looking for.

The Android way is just so much more intuitive. Is there some setting on iOS/swiftkey that gives the Android type keyboard? I went thru all the settings but couldn't find anything.

A feature that I really miss from other keyboards (such as Gboard) is the ability to search emojis. I really love this feature and I think its better than emoji prediction. Please add this is a close future update!

Yes, the lack of this feature would be enough to make me switch keyboards, but I really like Swiftkey.

I like and use Your keyboard primarily for the Android but also for the Apple. L

On the other hand I purchased on IBM Surface tablet and was very discouraged to find they support almost no usable on screen keyboards.

I can give you the list of features of your keyboard that they don't support, and of course some features that I'd like you to add.

But the major thing I would like to do is ask why you,  as a subsidiary of Microsoft,  can not convince them to allow you to have an alternate keyboard for their Windows 10 Surface tablets.

Note: I would be perfectly willing to pay for a 'Pro' version  if that's what takes to get it your software moved over to their package

Can I make swiftkey switch automatically to incognito mode whenever I open specific apps or windows? Such as incognito tabs in Chrome and Firefox.

Otherwise, is there a (non root) 3rd party app that can do it?

I got a new phone and installed the app and signed in with the account that I was using on my old phone. However, after running the sync operation, none of my old predictions are showing up. I still have my old phone and I'm able to confirm that both of them have backup and sync configured and both of them are signed in with the same account ID. Any suggestions?

I use SwiftKey on multiple phones. Same login / account.

They should all be able to add new clips but also have ability to SEE clips added from different phones (same SwiftKey user!) 

I'm speaking about - SYNC. 

Our clipboards clips AREN'T BACKED UP AND SYNCED.

I have so many of them set-up. Do u know how much TIME  I have spent setting Pinned clipboard clips and shortcuts up, just to lose them all? :(

Please, SwiftKey team, SYNC them.

Or at least, give option to export and import! (XML, TXT, whatever - as long as Import exists, too!) 

I lose so much of my hard work because you DON'T backup/sync clipboard content and pinned items and shortcuts ACROSS PHONES, when SwiftKey account is the same...

I once lost my phone and bought another, enabled SwiftKey and NONE OF MY CLIPS were saved. :((((Such a big disappointment! 

Please give this HIGH priority, PLEASE.

Have been looking for a keyboard that has it all and SwiftKey works for me for the most part. But it's kind of annoying how I have to switch to a different keyboard every now and then to enter kaomoji or Japanese emoticons like these - (๑•̀д•́๑)ʅʕ•ᴥ•ʔʃ

Unfortunately, words can no longer be deleted by pressing the prediction key for a long time. Is this solved differently now or is it an error?

When I use both English and Swedish language in SwiftKey it constantly auto capitalizes "i" even though I have selected the Swedish language/keyboard.
If I only have Swedish language/keyboard it doesn't do this. But I like to switch between English and Swedish, so having a single language enabled is not an option.
Please correct this bug, it's really annoying to constantly have to correct this when writing in Swedish.
I have noticed that this topic has been brought up for several years, maybe it's time to fix it?

Is there a way to stop the automatic space after a period?

Most of my typing is in regards to IP addresses, email address and the like. 

Most of the time I do not want a space following the period. Perhaps an option in the settings area would help.

For all of us concerned adults, I noticed the latest update now blocks or significantly limits R rated search keyword results. Wouldn't the implementation of a user selectable filter make more sens? It's a deal breaker for me if I can no longer message my friends with R rated gifs.

Please add customization options for the symbol keyboard layout. The SwiftKey one is totally unintuitive - the normal symbol layout that's been in use for years didn't need reinventing, and it's one of the ways the standard Google keyboard is clearly superior for my use. The new layout completely trips up long-standing muscle memory for no discernable benefit.

In this post I'm going to leave in errors in quotations and some corrected words as parentheticals to show "t" what's going on. Reading this post will probably be about as "r" frustrating as it is typing it out. I'm pretty sure this issue started within the past week, "u it" (but) random letters "go Vila" words and "r flags t" (spaces) began to pop up when "r t" using the flow "y y toxin" (function) of the keyboard. Sometimes it will even put in random gibberish words, and "y hovering" (sometimes) I just "have to u" give up and manually touch type things in.

Anybody else having this issue? Any ideas how to fix it?

Would love the option to include a delete key on top of the present backspace key. A lot of efficiency gains could be had by allowing me to delete rather than having to tap and move precisely in order to use the backspace key.

Tldr: have the keys that allow me to delete going right or left.

Hello, SwiftKey is the best keyboard, but the qwerty layout has flaws, as well as all the other keyboard layouts for thumb typing.

I have made my own layout, and want to test it out on SwiftKey :). Is there any way to add my own layout into the language select screen? Maybe if I rooted my phone?

I am willing to relearn a layout, and it's really easy for me to do. I want one which allows me to be sloppy and have really good autocorrect. I can text without looking, but every time I look at my screen, I see the same errors caused by certain keys being too close.

So yeah, I made my own layout, and if it's not perfect, I have an idea for writing a program which can figure out a better layout, and I will continually test each new layout.

And yes I've tried LOADS of android keyboards and also different layouts(qwerty, colemak, dvorak, azerty, etc). Swiftkey is the best for autocorrection, and the smartest so far.

I'm currently using JBak keyboard with my own layout, but it's autocorrect is rubbish.

Why go to so much hassle? because I know it's possible to text without looking at my screen, and I like being able to look up at the world whilst texting at a fast speed, followed by a quick proof read.

I find that the source that SwiftKey uses to find GIFs is lacking. There are a lot of sources on other apps that have more relevant GIFs, that you cannot find using SwiftKey. Is there a way to add certain sites/sources to the GIF search functionality in SwiftKey?

We came upon non 3D Touch devices as Apple has completely abandoned the technology, bringing haptic feedback. On devices with small screens, such as the iPhone, is easier to handle the lack of cursor control (although iOS native keyboard does the trick very nicely), but it is terrible on the iPad. SwiftKey is, hands down, the smartest keyboard there is - and it's exactly why it is so hard to understand why they didn't come up with a solution.

I can't find baybayin keyboard in language section

Hello. My problem is about backup and sync. First I have to tell you these. 5 years ago I was using LG G3, and I moved on iPhone 6 Plus and I was able to use my old predictions. And then I moved on Xiaomi Mi 8, I was still be able to use all my learned data. And now I changed my phone to Oneplus 7 pro, and in the app I cannot see any of my learned data.

Today I updated windows to the new version with the clipboard that syncs supposedly with SwiftKey beta, only to come to the realisation that SwiftKey is not actually syncing with it. Can I get some help please?
