Many Users are not able to efficiently use SwiftKey as tap-to-type due to the errors that occur when spaces are inserted or deleted after certain characters.

SwiftKey AI will add spaces even when settings for all options are turned off.

Certain characters require double spaces to be spaced, and 'period' character will have spaces inserted directly after. The frequency of key press affects the displayed result - and it is different each time.

Data fields without the correct meta-tag will result in SwiftKey behaving differently - cut and paste - may or may not add spaces after. URL may or may not add spaces.

Pressing 'period' 20 times at a rate of 1 per second will yield a different result to a rate of 3 per second.

The behavior can be seen when typing an ellipses "..." or open and closed bracket "[ ] " or open and closed braces "{}"
Textbox tags on sites with it enabled in the textbox will mean that the "@" character will cancel unwanted behavior, and also "#" hash tags.

The replication of the issue is most apparent for continuous key-press of the period key - as stated above - and shows a lack of set behavior for AI, due to the inconsistencies. Time between key-press for a single character "period" should not yield different results.

Just create a toggle to disable insertion or deletion of spaces after characters or words.

This has been an issue for years now, and has constantly been ignored.

I am experiencing very glitchy behaviour using the app with Spark. The response is slow, and the keyboard randomly switches from Swiftkey to the basic keyboard. I don't appear to be having this problem using Swiftkey with other apps. Any thoughts?

Please make an option for a photo theme to be able to change the color of the letters on the keyboard to something other than white

The logo stands out and looks terrible on my otherwise all-black theme.  I know what keyboard I'm using. You don't need to advertise it to me.  I'm currently using a size smaller than desired only because it hides the logo.  Could you please, please, please remove the logo from this otherwise great keyboard?

I'm looking on getting rid of the Quick Emoji Beta feature on my Samsung Galaxy S8.  It's very annoying.

I hate the beta toolbar.

I always get emoji from my emoji history and SwiftKey defaults to the crystal ball, which I assume is predictions.

love the app - understand that it defers to Google for voice to text which is fine but do any of the keyboards have the microphone button larger? I downloaded this app to have a larger keyboard but now it is harder to get to the microphone - may have to uninstall it if there is no fix

The production version of SwiftKey is again too large and this time on the note 8. Please apply whatever hot fix you did for the S8 so we don't have to use a giant keyboard.

I use English, Swedish, and Farsi in my daily usage. It is a shame that Swiftkey doesn't allow three languages in iOs.

I know the limitations of iOs on memory but my idea is that since languages like farsi have a completely different letter and writing direction, Swiftkey can actually unload the other dictionaries when switching to RTL languages. This way you meet the memory requirements of the iOs and more people are happy.

And then, the emoji is very annoying, that it is embedded in ENTER button.

Eg. Especially using Whatsapp typing, while scrolling the Whatsapp emoji, then the keyboard SwiftKey emoji pops up and override the Whatsapp emoji panel.

Downloaded the new update today for iOS and saw that 68 new languages were introduced, but lo and behold, NO ESTONIAN KEYBOARD. Come on, Android has one, how come iOS doesn't? It's about time.

I started using SwiftKey this past month after testing it out on my new phone and I think I'm sticking with it. But one thing I loathe about it is how all the characters on the Arabic keyboard are scattered around with no logical connection between them, I'm not talking about the main letters but the ones you get when you long press a letter.

Let me give you an example, in both Google's GBoard and Apple's keyboard and probably every keyboard out there when you long-press on the letter Alif (ا), the equivalent of A, you'd get all the variations أإآء... But SwiftKey kind of have them scattered around like on a physical keyboard which is not very thoughtful. This leaves me either guessing or using an ugly theme with all the letters shown.

This problem is present on both the main beta releases of the keyboard on iOS and Android.

Need a way to be able to move the cursor  via the keyboard. Like Apple. Samsung. Google. And every other keyboard from the 21st Century.

I used Swiftkey on my Xiaomi Mi5 for several years (more than 5 probably linked to my google account and recently switched to a Mi5, but when trying to retrieve my saved words (My data) from the previous smartphone, I am unsuccessful.

When trying to link with the google account I don't have any correct word predictions like my Mi5. I have already tried to switch to swiftkey beta, but also to no avail.

The odd thing is that by accessing the "Swiftkey data portal", going to "View data", I can see every list of saved words to export. But they do not appear on my android.

I'm really frustrated with that, and if I want to start over with a keyboard, I'll probably choose to migrate to another competitor that truly provides this feature.

As the title says, my predictions/sync has been broken for a few weeks now. Even though all my learnt words are available on data.swiftkey.com/view-data, nothing shows up as predictions on my phone.

Basically the title says all. I switched from the Galaxy S7 to the Galaxy S10 and logged into my SwiftKey account using my Microsoft account (the same as I did on my S7) and none of my words are transferred to the S10. I know SwiftKey still remembers them, because I checked the "View data" page on swiftkey.com and all of my added words are there. Why won't they sync to my SwiftKey app on my S10?

Swiftkey version: 7.3.4.18

Steps to reproduce: Just login using the same account from the other device. A word that should be saved, I have to add all over again. Basically starting from scratch.

I use SwiftKey on multiple phones. Same login / account.

They should all be able to add new clips but also have ability to SEE clips added from different phones (same SwiftKey user!) 

I'm speaking about - SYNC. 

Our clipboards clips AREN'T BACKED UP AND SYNCED.

I have so many of them set-up. Do u know how much TIME  I have spent setting Pinned clipboard clips and shortcuts up, just to lose them all? :(

Please, SwiftKey team, SYNC them.

Or at least, give option to export and import! (XML, TXT, whatever - as long as Import exists, too!) 

I lose so much of my hard work because you DON'T backup/sync clipboard content and pinned items and shortcuts ACROSS PHONES, when SwiftKey account is the same...

I once lost my phone and bought another, enabled SwiftKey and NONE OF MY CLIPS were saved. :((((Such a big disappointment! 

Please give this HIGH priority, PLEASE.

I got extra Keys for "Ä", "Ö", "Ü" , so those are no problem for me, but the german "ß" is so dumb!!

Everytime you wanna use it, you need to long press "S" and then move from the default "#" to the "ß".

Can you at least set up the "ß" as the deafault one? And not the Hashtag? This would make so much more sense. Caue its more often in use!

Its so dumb, that they dont fix easy things like that!

Hello all. This is my first post here and i decided to make it because i could not find the information anywhere else. 

I've tried on an iPhone X and an iPhone XS Max. Long pressing no longer brings up a menu to delete predictions. Also, when i try to personalize on my new device (the XS MAX) the progress bar doesn't move at all. Its just stuck. 

I've tried logging out, rebooting device and doing it again. Same result. 

I've tried deleting the app, rebooting, reinstalling the app. Same result.

Latest switftkey version on iOS + Latest iOS (12.0.1)

I just started to use Swiftkey, and I love it, but the fact how the letters ß, ä, ö, and ü are handled when typing in German are a complete deal-breaker for me. It's such a simple thing, and I honestly don't understand why it's not implemented in a smart way.

In order to type an 'ä', you have to long press the letter 'a', then the '@' appears beneath your finger, and you have to move to the letter 'ä'. In German, the letter 'ä' is just a normal character, and it is used a lot more often than the letter '@', so it should be the other way round. After the long press, the 'ä' should automatically appear beneath your finger, so you just have to long press it, without the extra move.

The same thing applies to ß (after long pressing the 's', the ß should be standard, instead of the '#'), for o (where the 9 is standard instead of ö), and the 'ü' as well.

Gboard, and any other keyboard (to my knowledge) implement it in that way. So you just have to long press the u, in order to get a ü, and so on. It's fine if you have to move your finger for characters that you don't need that often, but ä, ü, ö and ß should be the first choice when long pressing.

My keyboard arrow keys disappeared today. I did not change anything, nor is there an option for them!

Will SwiftKey ever implement a "bad word" filter toggle in the settings? 

Currently, trying to search for gifs using...explicit or colorful language, only yields "No Search Results." This is silly at best, annoying at worst. Why the language filter? 

The keyboard is still way too big in full resolution! It is the same issue as it was on man other samsung devices.

Please fix this Problem! I want to use my phone in WQHD.

Until the crystal ball thing gets removed from the non beta app, I'm going to post here every week complaining about it. Give us the choice to remove it. Thanks.
