I have the same problem, in the emoji section in Gboard appear more emojis than the button for emojis in Swiftkey!

Any answer on this? I have the same problem too. All the emoji show in Gboard, but not as many in Swiftkey. A reinstall didn't solve the issue either.

Same problem. No thinking emoji, no eyeroll emoji, and probably others

Recently I found that some male emojis are not being shown anymore.

    Like this one for example.

I don't have this problem. Please check with your OEM.

What the OEM has to do with what the app shows?

Why the device OS interfere with what Swiftkey shows as available emoji?

Shouldn't the app be independent on this? I mean, Whatsapp still shows me all the emojis, including the ones that Swiftkey used to show me.

    This is from Whatsapp:

As seen, they are still available there, but in Swiftkey they aren't. And both are on the same device.

They used to work before, and now they don't anymore.

It is just too weird for me that one app depends on the Android OS and the other doesn't.

SwiftKey uses only the emoji that the ROM provides, so that we can be sure in no matter which app you type with SwiftKey won't leave you with emoji display problem.

Chat apps like WhatsApp can have its own emojis since it displays only within this app.

    its pointless

My Alpert, my phone's font NotoColorEmoji.ttf supports many more emoji than Swiftkey shows.

If would be useful if Swiftkey said whether this is a wont-fix business decision or suggest a solution.

SwiftKey does not support third party ttf font.
