Synching your old data to a new phone

I got a new phone (Note 10+) as well, and the same thing is happening.  My dictionary didn't sync even after logging in and going to accounts and backup & sync.

I would like to know the answer to this problem as well.

I have got the same problem. Switched to a new phone and the old saved data in my phone wouldnt appear in the new swiftkey. The sync shows it has successfully synced all the data but no words from my account are actually synced.

Same here, just upgraded to Note 10+ and no words are being synced, old phone working fine everything getting predicted as usual, both phones now synced less than a minute ago and none of my usual predictions are popping up on my new phone, please help!

Same problem on my Note 10+. Tried everything they asked and nothing. Lost 5 years worth of predictions. Not cool.

I broke my old phone, so cant access anything on it. Downloaded the Swiftkey app on the new one, but doesn't seem to recognize me. I paid to upgrade on old phone, had Swiftkey Beta, but it would allow me to sign in with Google, just will not load! Something is wrong here...New phone is a Samsung 50A 

I have the same problem.
switched to note 10 plus a week ago. no predictions are synced from my old phone. signed with the same account, and same Id number. Still have to type everything from scratch. logged into SwiftKey data and I can see that last sync was a week ago although I synced it multiple times since then. 3 years of teaching my keyboard and I have to start all over again..
tried clearing data, installing /uninstalling
nothing helped. this is clearly a bug on Microsoft's side. please look into it and respond.

I've posted on their Facebook page, there is a link there to contact them, but Facebook not allowing it to connect! 

Ok after efforts of many days I have found a work around and resolved the issue now my account is syncing.

First Uninstall previous SwiftKey keyboard, then download and install any old version app from Google and and sync your account then update the app from playstore. In my case I installed SwiftKey version 7.0.9.28.

I had to reinstall the app after doing a hard reset and it lost 7 years worth of word prediction data! I also HATE the new layout with numbers and symbols above all the keys...What happened to the original?

Same here: just changed the phone, can see the saved data (words) from the old phone in the account but it's not being used on the new phone!

It's ridiculous that we have to do such jump arounds! Doesn't the support read here?? It seems clearly a bug...!!

Tried an older version as well and it doesn't have my predictions.  Also tried the Beta Version.  

There seems to be no way of contacting Swiftkey directly. Tried the Facebook messaging, get a stock reply directing me back here! Very disappointed in their customer service. Ive now gone to the app and downgraded my rating and left a review, suggest everyone with the problem does the same!

I'm using swift keyboard fromany years. Plz fix this.

Is it possible still no response from the support team??

I have given up, the lack of tech support is worrying, feels like no one is monitoring! In which case, I feel its wide open to hacking, so dumped them for Google's Gboard.  What a pity..

I really hate what Microsoft have done to SwiftKey, and all the bugs that never got fixed. Now that my settings and dictionary haven't come across to my new phone, despite signing into Mucrosoft again, I'm just not going to bother with this keyboard anymore. None of them are good, but GBoard isn't any worse than this, and at least my settings have come across in it.

I have the same problem, styry phone Huawei nova 3 and everything stored in the clipboard did not sync to the new xiaomi Redmi Note 11S

Hello, thank you for reaching us. Currently, clipboard texts are not part of the backup & sync feature. So you will not be able to back up your clipboard texts from one device to another. However, SwiftKey keyboard supports the cloud clipboard feature, using which you can sync the clipboard texts across devices. But these synced texts cannot be saved or pinned on the second device. You will be able to see the texts as long as the primary device holds them. Thank you!
