I fear, this is a useless effort.

They do not seem to be interested too much in the opinion of their users.

During the last few months, they published nearly daily updates introducing hundreds of new languages (that most probably noone needs), but they do not understand a simple problem like the one, which was described here.

For the time being, I banned Swiftkkey from my device, using other alternatives...

    Thanks anyway for the initiative!

    Yowza + wowza.

I just sent an inquiry before landing on the correct search terms that lead to this thread...had no idea this has been asked about for *years*? 😳

Well, for what it's worth, I did receive an email response from SwiftKey Support on an unrelated topic as recently as mid-December.

So I'll naively hope they provide constructive feedback as a new year's resolution.

I'll post back with an update.

Please do this...it's a silly, and annoying black eye on an otherwise impressive app!

The feature to disable auto space was added in Beta 7.9.7.8, but was then removed from Beta 7.9.8.8. Is it coming to the stable sooner or later?

Thank you, I must have missed it or looked in the wrong place. So we can assume it is coming to the stable release soon? :)

Hello Walter Vogel, The 'Smart Punctuation' is our new feature we recently launched in SwiftKey Beta app and it is still under testing. Although we don't have an exact date or time for this update, we can guarantee you that it will be rolled out via an update so make sure that you always have the latest version of the app installed.

    Thank you for your support!
