Why is iOS SwiftKey different than Android? Missing amazing features
So I switched to iPhone after 6 years using an android phone. I installed swiftkey on ios noticed that the ios swiftkey app is missing some mandatory (imo) features which are present in android version.
Features like resizing keyboard, long press for all symbols and numbers (numbers in first row, other symbols like ;()!%_= etc. underneath), a comma on the left side of space button, long press duration and many more
Why is it like this and are there any official statements on this one? I just love the android swiftkey and don’t like swiftkey at all on ios.
Thanks
Super late to this but I would also like to know. I'm running both platforms because in general so many apps function different on each for seemingly no reason.
I agree with the others above. SwiftKey is one of the best on Android phones, but it's less than average on ios phones. Why is that?
In addition to the missing features listed above, another thing that is annoying is the lack of direction arrows that are a great help in navigating around in a document. Why are they absent in the iOS version?
Hi Stan Duncan, We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Thank you very much for your inputs for SwiftKey. We will certainly pass your feedback to our teams for future improvement. Thank you for your support!
I and others have been asking this question for years now, but with no answers. I just got a response from you saying thanks for my question and that you (or the bot) will pass it on to your "teams for future improvement." Why is this question so difficult to answer?
Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. While we can't action every individual idea, customer feedback helps us to guide the decisions we make around your keyboard. We will certainly pass your feedback to our teams for future improvement.
