Trying to use the translator, I get a message that "Something went wrong. Restart the translator." I have such a problem only with mobile Internet

Hi swiftKey developers! I am a regular user of your keyboard for Android. I am also an Android developer. In the process of writing one of my language learning application found you have a bug that affects my application. Namely keyboard switching by setImeHintLocales parameter is not supported (more detailed https://developer.android.com/reference/android/widget/TextView#setImeHintLocales(android.os.LocaleList) ). Also there is a suggestion to you to make a method. A method that would tell the main application which layout the language has switched to, i.e. throw in the “en " code when the user switches to the English layout. Good luck!

vorrei capire come memorizzare termini. In pratica la tastiera swiftkey non memorizza il termine <po'>, che in italiano è il troncamento di poco ed è un termine molto utilizzato. Nella lingua italiana <po> non esiste. Esiste <Po> maiscolo, cioè il fiume Po.
E' un problema che posso risolvere in autonomia?

Hi, it's been a while since my SwiftKey has stopped predicting the correct form of " un po' " (Italian, it means "a little bit"), it just predicts " un po ". As you can see the apostrophe went missing and it's actually a grammar error in my language, because " po' " is short for "poco" and if you shorten a word the apostrophe is mandatory (also because "Po" is the longest river in Italy but that's another story).

I tried deleting "po" (without the apostrophe) from the prediction bar, deleting and reinstalling the app, I've even tried running it on different devices but the issue seems to be account-wide.

Can anyone help me please? :)

it's unbelievable its more than a month that your app have problem with sync !! but you do not any action to fix this sh-ity problem

what should we do ? is your project is dead ? just replace with other app or what ?

Hi team, I've checked out the other forum posts, and none of them have helped me solve my issue. I also reached out a couple times via the contact-us link you've got but to no avail.

When trying to log in on my new phone, it looks like the login is successful but I receive a  "SwiftKey Account authentication failure!" error and am not able to access any of my old data/themes.

This is a real shame as I have truly enjoyed this product for years and now I can't log in at all or even create a new account so I can download themes.

Any further advice here would be greatly appreciated!

SwiftKey beta version used to be incredibly good but something has happened to the algorithm, around 2017. it is doing all sorts of very strange things, for example

1/ if the second letter of your typing is incorrect it will still try to accept that nonsense word even though the rest of the letters in the word are typed correctly and the only incorrectly typed letter is the one right next to the correct letter.

2/ Once you choose to NOT to predict a word like "adk" again it should automatically change the suggested words and guess the proper word you were trying to type ("ask").

3/ Also, if you put the cursor in the middle of a word to correct it, and then when SwiftKey guesses the word and you tap the guessed word to select it, SwiftKey will enter the guessed word and then leave the second half of the incorrect word, so you have to then delete that unnecessary bit too. Google keyboard corrects this properly, even if you have the cursor in the middle of a word, if you tap on a guessed option, the whole of the previously typed word is replaced, not just the part to the left of the cursor..

When I try to download a theme, it gets stuck in a loop asking for permission to login, offline permission, it opens new tabs everytime and doesn't progress.

When the promised sync for clipboard with Windows 10 will be produced?

I know that Swiftkey is supposed to support the OS level emoji automatically but I recently upgraded to Android 10 and none of the new Unicode 12 emoji are shown. These show up on Gboard. Any plan to add the new emoji?

I've been using Swiftkey for 3 years now on my phone without being logged into an account. 

Now that I logged in finally, my existing dictionary isn't syncing; only the stuff I've written after the login are put into my vocabulary. Any way to sync the ones that are still locally on my phone?

First Uninstall previous SwiftKey keyboard, then download and install SwiftKey version 7.0.9.28 apk file and sync your account then update the app from play store.

I'm a big fan of SwiftKey keyboard. Recently, I got the Galaxy Note 10, there is a feature in the Samsung keyboard with using the S pen, it can convert hand writing to letters. It is a cool feature, and for that I almost gave up SwiftKey.
I'd there any way I can use that feature with SwiftKey keyboard? Is there a specific app for that?

Hi, so I have my previous phone, that I've used for a long time. So I have many prediction words that I use there. Now I have a new phone, I logged in the same account, but it is not syncing with my data from that phone

Feature request.

Please add an option to turn off the insert of a space after punctuation.  I would like to know what I am typing is actually what gets entered without the application inserting a space after a period, comma or other punctuation.

Please add an option to completely turn this behavior off or back on as the user decides.

Hi all,

I just performed a factory reset on my Huawei P30 Pro, and now all my word predictions are gone. I've tried all SwiftKey's troubleshooting advice, and backing up the app on my old iPhone, where all my predictions are working, then syncing on the Huawei, but still no luck. All is gone.

Do any of you experience the same issue? And does anyone have a solution? I've never had this problem when resetting my iPhone, and I'm quite disappointed right now.

I blog a lot I do this for a living (not in English), and I do it with a phone and unfortunately there is no alternative to this keyboard for me.

What happened? I sign in to my swiftkey acc (Google) and all the words I taught to SK are not working. I went into the  website and where I can view my data all my words are there. All of them.. Why they dont show up and work when I use my devices? I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 mostly (Exynos chipset). did work till now, Whati is solution? It should be fixed about yesterday.

Hi, I'm trying to sync my Word predictions from ios to android. But I'm still not able to retrieve my words in Android.

I've connected both via Google account.

I just changed my phone. The previous data is not coming. Please help

I want to move my vocabulary from a Google account to a Microsoft account. I saw that one can export his account data, but I couldn't find how to import it.

Can it be done?

Recently re-installed Android and thus Swiftkey. Now there is no longer any option to add additional accounts e.g. SMS, facebook, twitter to my account. Has this functionality been removed?
