Lately this app has taken a downturn. It constantly puts in the wrong word. When I backspace to fix it, the word I just input shows up. Ugh! Why wasn't it selected to start with. I've stopped and deliberately made sure I swiped exactly from letter to letter, and it will still put in what it wants to, but what I swiped or what my history would predict. It not only suggests by preemptively puts in a word I rarely use over what I've just used or have used hundreds of times since I stated this app.

I started using SwiftKey this past month after testing it out on my new phone and I think I'm sticking with it. But one thing I loathe about it is how all the characters on the Arabic keyboard are scattered around with no logical connection between them, I'm not talking about the main letters but the ones you get when you long press a letter.

Let me give you an example, in both Google's GBoard and Apple's keyboard and probably every keyboard out there when you long-press on the letter Alif (ا), the equivalent of A, you'd get all the variations أإآء... But SwiftKey kind of have them scattered around like on a physical keyboard which is not very thoughtful. This leaves me either guessing or using an ugly theme with all the letters shown.

This problem is present on both the main beta releases of the keyboard on iOS and Android.

'keep awake' permission of swift keyboard is not working. As it is constantly getting cleared from memory. How do i change this?

I've noticed that my keyboard no longer inserts a space after the word I type using the flow method. It's quite frankly obnoxious since I use a combination of flow and prediction bar; every time I want to place punctuation, I have to type the character, see that there's now a space between the character and the word, then backspace both and retype the character. In addition, the prediction bar is now useless since it no longer predicts, only shows me the word I just typed. I have been through the meager settings to try and fix this, but to no avail.

I am having problems signing into my SwiftKey account. I keep getting an error

I cannot find the currency symbol (¤Tekst, du kopierer, vises automatisk her) on the danish keyboard. Does it exist in any of the other language layouts?

I used to be able to get a compact keyboard on my Samsung tablet (rather than a ridiculously wide keyboard that covers the whole bottom of my landscape oriented screen). But I cannot find that option any more. Where is it? (same problem on my NOOK HD+)

I'm using SwiftKey v6.5.3.35 on a Xiaomi Mi5s with MIUI 8.2.2.0 Global Stable on top of Android 6.0.1. I'm using it with the default font. I also had this issue with various phones and roms like Cyanogenmod, Touchwiz, etc.

This is a message (marked in blue) which I typed in Sinhala using Swiftkey

And this is the message which my friend got (iPhone 7 with iOS 10)

Some letters have errors in iOS. I saw this problem in other iOS versions as well. No matter what Swiftkey version, Android version or iOS version this problem remains with SInhala language.

When I typed the same message with Google Keyboard and Helakuru (another 3rd party keyboard specially for Sinhala typing) it was perfect. 

I think the problem is with the typing method of Swiftkey. Both other keyboards use a different method. Hope you guys can fix this it would be great.

For my phone (like a Samsung) with a AMOLED screen, I would like a completely black theme with the primary and secondary keyboard letters and symbols white. To save battery and also be functional.

Hi. SwiftKey was updated today and the way typing and prediction works has changed! Before, I'd swipe a word and it would insert the word and the prediction bar would show suggestions for THE NEXT word. Now, I swipe a word and it gives suggestions for the current word. I much preferred the old way. Any way to go back to the old method??

I've spoken with Jump Desktop support, but I figured I'd check here as well. When I am using Jump Desktop to remotely access a computer, when I press the "123" key to bring up the number keypad, the keypad shows for a split second and then immediately returns back to the regular keyboard.  There is no way to use the number keypad or special character keypad because they will not stay open. This is probably an issue with Jump Desktop, but other keyboards work fine, so I wonder if SwiftKey is doing something strange to show the number pad.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Da diverso tempo e in seguito ad un aggiornamento la tastiera SwiftKey SOLO in "Word" non applica lo spazio automatico. Quando premo le previsioni l'effetto è che il testo viene tutto attaccato. Inoltre quando tento di correggere una parola e premo la barra spaziatrice o mi elimina l'ultima lettera della parola o mi aggiunge un lettera identica a quella iniziale della parola. Quello che mi accade in pratica è questo: iltestomivienetuttoattaccato o se scrivo una parola qualsiasi ad esempio "farfalla." se correggo la parola mi diventa "farfal." oppure "ffarfalla".

Ho provato la tastiera su un altro tablet uguale al mio Samsung Galaxy S2 e il problema è lo stesso.

I am happy with the new clipboard feature it was necessary but right know I am using I have 10 clipboard list saved but one of them is hidden I mean I can't edit or delete due is saved but is disappear in the menu I imagine that it is the last one and for a trouble of the app is not appearing in the list. However when I typed the shortcut the clipboard appears in my writing some idea?

Just recently my enter changed from being able to add a new line to sending the message. I really wish I could switch this back. If it's in the settings, I CANNOT find it.

I've tried many times but the long press feature for deleting a word is not working on the Chinese Keyboard. It is only working on the English keyboard. It's very frustrating for the same wrong prediction to pop up every single time. Also the Chinese keyboard seems like it has stopped to remember new words. I tried many times to repeat typing some new words, hopping it will replace the existing wrong prediction but it never did.

Por favor gostaria de saber porque estou precisando baixar os teclados SwiftKey várias vezes, antes não acontecia isso, ➕ geralmente qdo desligo o celular e ligo novamente aí já não consigo mais acessar os teclados e precisa baixar novamente.

Hello, I don't know why, the word "Sarkozy" (Sorry, it's not about you but this big word...especially when your name is Nicolas and that you are French...) always come back even if I DELETE it by long pressing.

First, where did he come from?
And second, why did he always come back?

It seen that the last SwiftKey update crash my swiftKey French use. It was unable to write the accentuate character. A long time press on "e" doesn't show the panel, the telephone was just reboot and unable to open.

The really problem is : I have an accentuate character I my phone password. The phone is locked.

Do you have any solution to unlock the phone ?

To remove that keyboard without any access ?

How can that thing arrive ?

I need access to my phone, I have some application I need use for my work.

Sometimes the keyboard stays on screen and I cannot find a button to close it. Please tell me how I can do this .

I just got Android 6.0.1 update and installed SwiftKey on it. Everything is working fine, but it's not wide enough on the whole screen.

As you can see, there are narrow space borders on the left and right... Why it's happening?

I experience a quirk when using SwiftKey beta (or non beta) with Talon for Android twitter client on an AOSP based nougat rom.

When quoting a tweet, the typing cursor on screen stays on the 2nd line on the very left side. It's very off-putting as I think I'm typing on that second line but the text moves to the top line when pressing space for the next word. This doesn't occur with other keyboards. 

While using swiftKey, I sometimes get a very strange auto suggetion, that predicts "davidstockmanscontracorner.com" (see in picture).

I dont know this site nor have i ever visited it before.

I have noticed this problem before, then performed a complete factory reset of the phone but i still get this suggestion which feels very strange (no backup form google used either).

Google did not really provide a solution and it also does not seem like a prominent problem.

What is wrong here ?

With the latest update, (beta user), the main symbols on the keyboard have stopped function. When a key press is held, the symbol pops up, and appears to work perfectly. But when you let go, it does NOT insert the symbol. If I open the symbol drawer (123) they work fine, it only affects long key press symbols.

The issue is intermittent, and restarting the phone resolves the issue for awhile, but eventually will still do it again.
