Hi, is it possible to change languages manually? When I have two or more languages together (i have Czech, English and French) and use flow, the resulting words of the flow gesture tend to be wrong often (a lot). Even if i use only Czech and English which is necessary in my every day life it is not working well. I would appreciate manual language switching as was possible in the past. Also separate personal dictionaries would be implied.(added words)

I see so many requests to make the spacebar bigger to eliminate the problem with accidentally hitting the period but yet no response or fix from Swiftkey, so I thought I would add on a post.  I really want to love Swiftkey and keep switching back to it every couple of weeks but then that darn period problem annoys me so much that I end up quickly switching to another keyboard.  PLEASE FIX THIS!!

When I'm typing on another forum the keys have stopped working properly and even when I tap the prediction words it puts in other things. Often pressing spacebar pus in letters like T randomly. Just now trying to type T with a period after wouldn't let me.

It's seems most problematic on that site.

As a language student, I have a need to type in multiple languages (five, to be exact), though I'm having trouble with my external Bluetooth keyboard. Though I can change the prediction language to Russian or Korean, I can't actually type the characters (remains typing with a US layout when I'd really like to be typing in the language I've changed to).

It's great that the QWERTZ (extended) layout has dedicated keys for Ä,Ö, and Ü, but there should definitely be a "ß" key (Eszett) as well. It's a common letter, and it's really cumbersome that you can only type it by longpressing the letter "S". There's enough space to add "ß" as well.

The smallest size of keyboard is too big for wqhd+ resolution on Samsung galaxy note 8. I really like swiftkey keyboard and have been using it for several years, bought paid version and a couple of themes, definitely wouldnt like to switch to other products. Could you please fix this issue?

I use multi language keyboard.
While I type english or other left to right languages, farsi recommendation is on mind and recommendations wont help. It is some thing useless for me.
How can I disable phonetic Feature? The only thing I hate from SwiftKey is phonetic. :((((((

It will be nice if the  High contrast theme has the symbols shown on the alphabets on the keys like some other themes so it's easier to key symbols.

Just got a Pixel 2XL, running the latest Android 8.0 build with the September security patch. On the latest SwiftKey beta, it won't let me log into my Facebook for personalization. It says error, not logged in please try again. I'm logged in to the Facebook app, and SwiftKey never prompts me to log in to Facebook in the pop-up. Anyone able to help?

I always asked myself why SwiftKey keyboard doesn't show up and hide in an elegant way and now even more when we have Nougat/Oreo with beautiful screen transitions, material design, etc.

Isn't possible to elaborate a sliding effect just like iPhone and even the Samsung default keyboard?

After testing other keyboards in the last days, I just realized that, although this is something minor, it's the type of thing that makes usability more pleasant, more fluid, smooth. So much better than just appearing and disappearing suddenly.

Don't know if it's something thought to reproduce in lower end phones, but could be something available in settings at least.

While trying to login to my swiftkey account, when I try to use my Google account, and it just loops back to browser. I tried it with my Microsoft account as well and it just keeps looping back to browser.
I'm using an LG V20, if that is a factor.

Love this keyboard. Was wondering if there is a way I can customize the color scheme, i.e., the letters, background and keys?

I really love this keyboard.. The thing that drawing me out of using it was the multi lingual typing, if I choose English & Malayalam. The two languages clubbed together in one instance. I had terrible experience with that. Because, somany mistakes occur as both languages were live. So could you kindly give an option to use English keyboard, when using Native language. Thank you.

Persian layout swiftkey on android is not like ios. In android you put 10 keys in one row vs 11keys on ios. There are two alphebet in one key like
ت and ث
ص and ض
گ and پ
ز and ژ
ط and ظ
I ask this request many times but nobody answer me. I don't know why a language layout is different on ios and android. Please make persian layout on android like persian layout swiftkey on ios.

Im getting random periods all over the place. I have to back space in the middle of a sentence im trying to write all the time. Not sure what's going on. Ive been using this keyboard for years and this issue just started up a few months ago. I would deal it with but it's getting worse and bringing me to a typing crawl. Any helpful would be great!

Got my new Note 8 today and it seems you have the same issue in high resolution again like on the S8+...

The size of the keyboard in high resolution is to large even set smallest...

 I hope an update will come soon to display the keyboard correctly at high res.

I hit reply, search for gif, tap gif to insert, it starts a new email draft with that gif.
I expect it to insert the gif in the reply I'm on.

What am I doing wrong?

I concurr with the accidental input of the period which is extremely annoying. What about double tapping the space bar as option for a period which would disable at the same time the period button but leave the option for the 3 other punctuations? Just a thought.

Hello, I would like to request a Samsung theme based for Swiftkey. 

This is the one I'm talking about:

You see it has rounded corners, no shadows, white and silver-ish, and they're simple and beautiful. And its easier to type on them. Please bring it to Swiftkey!

I've searched for every theme available to download and none of them are closed to these.

since the latest update (03/08/17) - the keyboard is slower than before. happens on both my phone (oneplus 2) and my wife's (xiaomi mi4c). please help.

To remove incorrectly learned suggested words in English input mode, such as misspellings, long pressing the suggestion from the prediction bar correctly gives the option to remove that word.

However, when in Japanese input mode, long pressing a suggestion simply inputs the text of that suggestion.

Is there any way to individually remove incorrect suggestions in Japanese input mode?

I am using 3 languages and I get English suggestions when using Serbian and I'm getting Serbian language suggestions when using English, is there a way to change that (I am using Serbian Latin, English (US) and English (Cyrillic)).

I'm a diehard SwiftKey user and I frequently type in Japanese. I hate Romaji keyboards and I'm forced to use Google Japanese Input, the problem with that is their keyboard is small, especially the qwerty keyboard, which I use for quickly typing English when I'm mostly using Japanese, and typing in English on Google Japanese Input is painful, it can only predict words as you start to type them, correctly, it can't fix your typos... I miss keys a lot, SwiftKey is a life saver. Why in the world is there no flick input for Japanese? It already has the dictionary and kanji from the romaji keyboard, I've seen rumors dated around 2014 about a flick keyboard scouring the internet. What do I have to do to get a good keyboard?

Recently I noticed that the question mark in arabic keyboard was rotated.
This one is english ? Open to left
This one is arabic ? This should have the open from the right
The arabic one should be rotated

I used to use touchpal keyboard and that's why I am missing two features in SwiftKey keyboard that is number one in touchpal keyboard when you swipe left the erasing button it erases the whole word and secondly it shows more than 3 predicted words on the keyboard that's called "more than 3 candidates" option in touchpal keyboard

When I type in Chinese and Japanese, SwiftKey does not really learn the slang words that I typed. It's a bit frustrating 

How can I stop unwanted comma's from cropping up? Also it causes the following word to be capitalised. I find it so annoying that I'm thinking about getting another keyboard. I've had this since it was a paid app, in fact I paid for dozens of keyboard looks before they just gave it away, free.

I saw someone else half address this, but whenever I try to add a semicolon after using flow input I get a space been the last word and the punctuation. If I want to use a semicolon or make my own made-up-phrase, I either have to backspace the last letter of what I've swiped (flowed) so it knows to look at what comes next as individual characters, or use the arrow keys to back up after hitting that semicolon and backspace spaces. Same applies to hyphenated words or series of words, but there's no reason to have the semicolon/colon/hyphen or dash not but the end of the preceding word. Particularly with the semicolon. I tend to like my punctuation as a way to fragment what would be a run on sentence and other areas where it would be appropriate but SwiftKey wants there to be space on either side of the ";" character or when using hyphenations. It should always hug the word to the left like a comma would; this range is same idea applies to full-on commas as well: it wants to have a space on either side instead of jumping back to the end of the last word like typing a period would. Why not give some (slightly) more obscure punctuation and symbols the period and comma treatment where after flowing a word it auto-spaces, but if a period, comma, or second space is input next that keyboard will smartly insert the formatting and punctuation before the auto-space between words.

Another hiccup I have that's always a fight is, for example, I want to list a file extension, SwiftKey will fight me to the pain several times in a row to not have it try to reformat that section to a URL.

It's to the point that I will flow a word, [backspace], [backspace], retype last letter of word and then long-pressing the "n" key for my semicolon to be in the proper place.

Side note:if the keyboard has to autocorrect the second half of a hyphenated word or expression it will add a space between the hyphen and the word it fixed looking like "blahblib- blahblah", assuming it had to fix my 'blahblah' for me, when the goal was "blahblib-blahblah".

SwiftKey is still hands down the most robust, well-rounded keyboard and I want you guys to continue to dig in your heels, keep pushing the envelope, and retain that innovation and magic autocorrect advantage without it getting too bogged down and keep it first time user friendly!

Also if you wanted to add gravy it'd be nice to have a way to flow on a larger screen (5.5" on my Pixel XL) when I'm manipulating the phone entirely with one hand without totally scrunching up the keyboard with the one-handed layout.
