Keyboards start floating (maybe gamemode) whenever I use my headphone button?

So this is weird,

Whenever I have my keyboard opened and I press my headphone button, my keyboard starts floating?

(Addressing picture below) That's how it becomes whenever I click the headphone button. This is a pretty major problem/bug as not only are the button LITERALLY missing, I also don't want it to be in this weird mode. I tried turning off 'voice input' in 'rich input' but that didn't work, so I assume it has nothing to do with it anyways.

I use Huawei Mate 10 Lite
Android 8.0
Emui 8.0
