New device, app missing in list
I got a new Android phone and used the SmartSwitch function to copy my apps to the new phone. I can choose (and use) SwiftKey, BUT it is not showing up in the list of applications.
If I go to the Play store, I only get one button, to "uninstall all updates for this Android system app", but there is no Open button.
I have already spent quite some time configuring the keyboard so I would rather not uninstall/reinstall the app...
How can I get it to appear in the app list again?
Hi, sorry for the trouble.
I would suggest to delete and reinstall your Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard to see if this resolves the issue for you.
If you are worried about losing any of your learned words, make sure you are signed in with your account and that you have Backup & Sync enabled.
Please note that uninstalling the app might delete your Microsoft SwiftKey stats, including saved clips on the clipboard, so if it's okay with you, please go ahead and try to do so.
