SwiftKey breaks the swype when word starts from bottom row
RespondidaI am a SwiftKey user for over 8 years now. I just purchased a Galaxy S22 Ultra. When I start a word from the bottom row, I notice this most with words starting with "b" or "c," SwiftKey will predict that letter, followed by a space, and another word. Sometimes I will even slow down, to ensure that I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary, and it will break the swype as I am swyping it.
This isn't constant, but it's enough that I consider the software broken.
Hi Japhet Cantos, thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it! Regarding the issue, please go ahead and try clearing the cache of it by going to Device settings > Apps and notifications > Apps > Microsoft SwiftKey > Storage > Clear Cache > Restart the device. Also, could you please provide us with the SwiftKey version and OS version.
Unfortunately, this has not solved my problem. I continue to be open to recommendations to fix this. Otherwise, I'll need to revert to the stock keyboard.
SwiftKey version = 8.10.17.3
Android OS Version = 12
Baseband Version = S908USQU2AVFI
The line continues to break when I start a word from the bottom row. For example, when I attempt to swype the word "con," the keyboard instead returns "c goon." Again, this only occurs with words started with a bottom row letter, primarily C, V, B and N. And this does not happen every single time, so it cannot be reproduced at will, but can be after a few seconds of basic typing.
Hello, We apologize for the continued inconvenience. Could you please try deleting Microsoft SwiftKey and reinstalling it. This often irons out any issues that might be impacting performance.
Please note that uninstalling the app might delete your Microsoft SwiftKey stats, including saved clips on the clipboard, so if it's okay with you, please go ahead and try to do so. Thank you!
