Android 13 Messes up Vibration/haptic
I have always NOT used the Android default vibration and had keypress vibration set to 3 ms in the Swiftkey options. I just updated to Android 13, and the vibrations are all out of whack. It feel like every few vibrations, an extra one gets added and it's difficult to type. It's the same issue as this:

That's specific to the Google keyboard, but I'm having the same issue. Is there any way to fix this?
Hello, thank you for reaching us. Sorry for the trouble.
While we are investigating the issue, could you please try to clear the cache of the app and restart your device and try to turn off and turn on the 'keypress vibration' option? This often irons out any issues that might be impacting performance. Thank you!
Hari Kyasa Thanks for the response. That did not help at all. It is not something that is tied to any app. It even happens in the keyboard test of the keyboard settings. When I'm in the settings of the keyboard app, there is a keyboard icon at the bottom to test the keyboard. Still have the extra and long vibrations.
Right now, I've switched over to the Android default vibration until SwiftKey can fix this keypress vibration.
Any other thoughts on how this can be fixed?
Hello Erik Bryant, sorry for the trouble. For us to investigate further, could you please help us with your device's make & model and SwiftKey app version? Thank you!
Hi Hari Kyasa . I have a Pixel 6 Pro. The version of SwiftKey is 8.10.22.4
I'm pretty sure if someone has the same device, same version of Android and SwiftKey, they will be able to replicate this issue with the keypress vibration.
Hi Erik Bryant, Thank you for the information and help. We have forwarded this issue to our development team for further evaluation. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks again for reporting this to us!
