Hello, is there a limit on how many custom words one can add to swiftkey?
So, I'm trying to teach swiftkey some words in bulk so I don't have to type them all. I send myself an email with the words which I want to be added and then I click the personalise with Gmail. All goes seemingly well, I get 'Last personaliszed: just now", then I try swiping the new words and they are not getting completed. If I try to type them I can see they are not there bc I get the word grayed out ready to be added. Obviously new words were not added.
I don't have the problem with 'personalization failed' most ppl have.
Any suggestions? IMAP is ON, Send mail is on IMAP, tried with another gmail account, same thing.
regards.
Iphone x - when I click "get", it says to double tap to install but I can see maybe 10% of an icon that disappears on the right side of the screen that I apparently must double tap, but since the icon is mostly not there, there is nothing to double tap and so will not install. Suggestions?
I updated to iOS 11, and now I cannot access my notes, which I need badly.
Can someone help?
I can't find the option, am I blind?
When will there be Simplified Chinese for Swiftkey?!
Hiya,
So I've recently just come back to Swiftkey after originally using it as one of the early backers from Kickstarter. Thankfully some of the bugs like the very aggressive emoji auto correct have been fixed.
However on my iPhone 6+ I'm getting quite frustrated with it already. The keyboard isn't always present on my apps - Whatsapp specifically. As in the default iOS keyboard shows instead. Plus if I do tap the switch keyboard button, Swiftkey will pop up and down a few times. It may or may not stay up and sometimes it just goes back to the default.
If I'm going to use Swift... I want to use it all the time and I don't want it to be a faff. Can anyone help me with this?
Cheers,
~ Ed
Hello,
I'm waiting since long time for Gujarati & Hindi Language support on iOS. Does anyone know whether and when is it being planned to be released. If this is not happening anytime within next 1 year, might have to switch to Android device to get these languages.
I am doing research work in Gujarati Literature and transliteration would be a great help for me on iPad.
I guess there might be other users like me too.
Thanks
I've been a happy user of SwiftKey for years on my Android phone, never had an issue with it, always seamless and easy to use. I've just switched to a new iPhone and Japanese is not offered for iPhone users, this is surprising to say the least and very disappointing. I was able to simply swipe the spacebar to the right to change between English & Japanese which was perfect. I am a native English speaker but live in Japan and need to text, search, etc. in both languages. I find it hard to believe that SwiftKey does not offer Japanese for iPhone but only for Android. I'm going to have to look to another app that can do that for me, too bad really.

Dear Admin/Mod/Developers,
There are other posts about this which were months old, but I feel that I have to voice out again.
I was on an android phone until recently, and I had been using SwiftKey on android (English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese). I just switched to iOS recently and was taken aback that foreign languages such as Korean, Chinese and Japanese are not available here..
Can the community be given some sort of updates on whether there is a team working on adding these new languages in the roadmap?
SwiftKey is the best keyboard out there for me and I am currently struggling with stock keyboards. I hope at the very least Korean keyboard can be added soon.
Edit: I would definitely be more than glad to pay for your keyboard even if you add Korean keyboard as a premium feature
Thank you very much.
Regards,
Valen
When using Force Touch to move the cursor around you can only move it within the current line. If you want to move it to another line you have to touch that line first with your finger then you can use Force touch to move around in that line.
Is there a button for voice to text? That's the only thing I'm finding disappointing with my new keyboard, no VTTM.
Since a few updates SwiftKey started to flicker, i.e. when I pick the text input area in an app (doesn't matter which one, same behaviour all across the board) SwiftKey shows up, quickly vanishes and then shows up again. If I start typing before it vanishes nothing happens until it reappears. That's annoying, but I can stand it if it weren't for..
Sometimes SwiftKey doesn't reappear, but the standard iOS keyboard. So I have to manually switch keyboard again.
Quite annoying, frankly. A fix, please?
GOOD MORNİNG FRENDS... 😅
Is there a way to access info. I️ saved in the Swiftkey Notes App on my iPhone (that no longer works)? Why are only someof my notes in Evernote? I’d really appreciate some help with this because I️ saved a lot of important info. In the app. Thanks!
Hello!
I recently changed phones from an iPhone 7+ to a iPhone X
I have been using Swiftkey for many years throughout different phones (each year iphone upgrade)
This year I ran across an issue where the words I normally predict is not on my iPhone X anymore.
If you look at the pictures on the iPhone 7, you can tell that the words that are usually predicted is not on the iPhone X
I have even tried to connect the accounts and its still not there.
When I used to do iCloud Backup from old phone to new phone, I dont even have to sign in and get all the same text predictions!
I have attached some screenshots :)
Thank You!
I've been using Swiftkey on Android since they days when you had to pay for it. Recently my job forced me to switch over to an iphone. The difference between the 2 versions is tremendous. Autocorrect works a lot more poorly but the main gripe I have is that you can't hold down a letter key to get every accent mark associated with it. Is there a reason for this? I continue to still use swiftkey since I'm used to the punctuation placement, but just seems weird that it works so poorly in iOS
Soo I'm wondering if I can just type a few word in a row then it world automatically space it for me can anyone help?
So when I type I like to make up my own words such as "soo" and it won't let me type words like that soo I guess my question is how do I use a letter two times in a row
How do I access grayed out numbers and symbols on keyboard without resorting to using the number/symbol key first?
Can the period key be removed, or moved? It's driving me crazy
Hi! Very excited about the new custom photo theme! Although I'm a little confused.
The key pop-up color doesn't change anything; what is it meant to do?
Also, the background brightness adjusts with light bubbles behind the letters until you slide the button to about the 80% mark on the right side and then the bubbles suddenly turn dark. Seems like a bug.
I would like the option to not have any background bubbles at all, like the high contrast theme.
I'm using iOS 11.1 with an iPhone 8 if that helps.
You're getting there... it's almost the perfect keyboard!
Cheers!
Seems like it is possible to have a tab key in android: https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115002450469-Tab-key
Where do I find the tab key in iOS?
Cheers,

Çok güzel bir ürün
I don't understand how to enable Haptic feedback in SwiftKey. The support article says
Opening the emoji panel, long-pressing the emoji/globe key,
and activating the 'emoji bomb' will all trigger small vibrations.
But i don't see an "Emoji Bomb" in the emoji panel.
I am using an iPhone 8 with iOS 11
it's worked fine for over a year before this.
i click on the words in the left box...it does not help
i did notice it wants to sync to my email and facebook, which i don't type the way i text...but i didn't seem to have a choice in that matter.
any suggestions?
Its gone after the update tiday!
I have an iPad Pro running iOS v11.0.3. The installation fails when I try to run the app. I’m able to download it from the App Store. Swiftkey shows up in the Keyboards section of iOS’s Settings, and I can turn it on and allow full access. However, when I launch the Swiftkey app, I get a momentary splash screen with the logo and then the screen goes completely white and stops. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Swiftkey app a few times, and I’ve “rebooted” my iPad in between. Still can’t get it to work. (NOTE: I’m able to install it on my iPhone 7 Plus without any problems.)
Has anybody incountered this problem, and is there a workaround? Any help is much appreciated.
UPDATE: I was able to fix the problem by detaching Apple’s physical foldable keyboard/cover (whatever they call it), and that seemed to do the trick. Apparently, Swiftkey doesn’t like when it’s attached during installation. Appears not to be a problem attaching and using it after installation completes.
Is there any way that I can change size of SwiftKey keyboard on IOS 11 or even makes space between keys bigger ?
