I have just switched to an iPad pro 12.9 and was upset to find that I could not access the SwiftKey keyboard from the standard ios keyboard. Unlike on the old, smaller ios keyboard there is no globe key to switch between keyboards. However, after some research I find that if you press and HOLD the emoji key, then you can switch to SwiftKey. The SwiftKey on-line help only speaks of the globe key, which could leave people stuck not knowing how to access all the great SwiftKey advantages.

Since the 12.2 update, I cannot use my Swiftkeyboard to enter more than 2 contacts into imessenger. When I enter a third, it deletes the second contact. When I enter another contact, it crashes and closes.
Anyone else experiencing that?
Turn off smart hashtags ? and get rid of that line which has the keyboard taking up OVER HALF THE SCREEN.0 votos 0 comentarios
I used swift key on most of my devices, iPad, Android Pads. I kept using Swype on the phone but finally decided I wanted swift key everywhere. Big mistake.
This lasted about 15 minutes as the swiftkey keyboard takes up over HALF of the screen.
I need to turn off all the extra junk above the keyboard.
The hashtag line is junk, how do I turn it off ? I see some old stuff when googling about turning it off on android but don't see same on iOS.
I'm back to using swype cause this is unusable on an iPhone.

Censorship with GIFs0 votos 0 comentarios
I understand that SwiftKey is not age restricted, and therefore needs to filter out explicit language. However, there should be an option to disable these filters, especially for GIFs. As an adult, I don't need my keyboard to parent me. If I want to find a vulgar GIF, I should be able to. Other keyboards allow it, SwiftKey should too.

Enhancing SwiftKey Symbol Shortcut Key, et al...1 voto 0 comentarios
SwiftKey Suggestions: I would like to see you add a couple of other "symbols" to the short you get when you press on the "Period Key" in three lower right. It appears there is room for 3-4 more. In order of preference, I would like to see: colon, semicolon dash, & forward slash (: ; - /). This would greatly speed up my text entry. I also wish the behavior of a press on the colon & semicolon reassembled the period & comma (i.e., Pressing the symbol after entry of a word places the symbol directly AFTER the word; NO space). Let me know if you have any suggestions. An option to go directly to "voice input of text", possibly associated with the "+ options" would also be helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions.../Ray

SwiftKey keyboard does appear, but I need to remove emoji for SwiftKey to be useable as I frequently switch between Japanese Flick Keyboard.
Teclado sumindo dos apss0 votos 0 comentarios
Boa tarde.

Predictive text0 votos 0 comentarios
Hello - great app. I've been using it on iPhone for years, only I've noticed very little improvement in terms of predictability in that time. My main complaint is its inability to predict text in context of the rest of the sentence or paragraph. Here are two words which the app frequently mistypes due to proximity of letters:
The text I just sent to my daycare provider is as follows and it got the above words confused. If the app were to be developed further, it should be able to detect wrong use of word in context of their respective sentences. Here is what I wrote:
Hi, how are you? Just a quick heads up, the girls list their TV privileges this week because they got in trouble :) Is it OK to please all them to do other activities today and tomorrow? Thanks and see you at 5!
Clearly "list" and "all" are wrong in the context of the above sentences. It would be great if the app could detect that and change the words proactively.
Swiftkey red underline is gone!0 votos 0 comentarios
I am using Samsung Galaxy S6 with Android 7.0, and here is the thing:
When I use Swiftkey, the red underline is missing.
When I switch back to Samsung keyboard, the red underline is working again!
So, what is the problem? I remember tech news that red underline is a spell checker feature included in the free netflix core Android OS to mark the misspelled words, and previously it was working with Swiftkey.
Can anyone assist me, or if you are a Swiftkey user on Android please tell me if you got the red underline or not?
Edit: spell checker option is not in the setting anymore! It has been moved to Samsung keyboard, is that a bug?
i.e. I can't do this:
Settings > system > language and input > advanced > spell checker > language > set English instead of system default.

SwiftKey inserting text inside emoji when using cursor (might cause crashes)1 voto 0 comentarios
SwiftKey inserts text into emoji when using cursor (3d touch on spacebar).
1. Open message in iMessage -> Insert 🎉🎉🎉
2. Move cursor by 3d touch betwen second and third emoji -> insert D letter there (like this "🎉🎉D🎉" )
3. Text is inserted improperly inside emoji, on sending - app crashes
This issue occurs everytime for SwiftKey with above reproduction route, doesn't occur for native Apple keyboard.
What do we have to do to get Japanese on iOS?0 votos 0 comentarios
I've been using Swiftkey for years on Android and just recently had to get an iPhone for work and found extremely puzzling the fact that after all these years iOS still does not have Japanese support.
Is there a reason for this? Like a system/OS/Software related reason? Or is it because you don't feel it is needed or important enough?
Could you please just let us know whether it is being worked on or if we should just give up on it?
If it's a money thing could you put a price on it? I'm sure lots of users would be willing to pay for Japanese support on iOS if there were reasons causing it to be more difficult to implement than on Android. I know I would pay to even beta test it. Stuff like this greatly impacts productivity and is more than worth the money in my opinion.
Keyboard is lagging a lot0 votos 0 comentarios
The keyboard is taking longer to open and not immediately typing when I tap or flow. It takes a few seconds and sometimes I have to close the keyboard and reopen it. It's almost like it's freezing up. It's happening frequently lately. The happens in iMessage, browsers , forms and notes.

One-handed keyboard?2 votos 0 comentarios
Does Swiftkey support one handed keyboard?
If not, why havent Swiftkey added any support for one-handed keyboard? The standard mode is pretty useless on big screen phones such as the iPhone XS max / iPhone Plus modells. Swiping in such width with fullscreen keyboard is pretty annoying, and forces me to use both my hands when texting.
