Microsoft SwiftKey Android Support Forums

SwiftKey has for a long time been auto-capitalising a some words that shouldn't be at all, and that I've never taught it to do. I have English (UK) and Norwegian installed as my dictionaries. I use to "tell" SwiftKey to delete the capitalised version all the time, but can't be bothered with that anymore. I got some advice on the old forums to ignore that and select the lower capital version every time, yet it still goes to a capitalised letter as the default.

There are a couple of words it always wants to capitalise, e and no. Why do you think it wants to capitalise these?

he he prediction appears when I want to type url in chrome. I can't remove it by long-press, because nothing happens. it's not only my problem, this prediction appears on any device using polish language.

I. Posted am issue, with vedio of screen, to demonstrate a huge lag when using duel language of English and gujarati transliteration. There were few exchanges. Was assured that the support team is working on it. It has been almost a year, and no solution has come, neither any discussion or feedback. The issue is convenienty forgotten and shelved. I also suggested, as the issue can not be resolved and when selecting duel language, gujarati words keep interfering while auto suggestions /insert is on. To avoid, there should be language change key. There has been a total oblivion to this suggestion. Worsening the matter, new layout keeps increasing no clicks needed to reach to language selection option.

This is a classic case of high headedness of team, who are neither interested in resolving bug, nor giving a thought to user suggestions.

I wish, some one reading, someone sensible enough to understand user difficulty will attend to this issue at swift key /Microsoft

Today most happening & most used app is Whatsaap, why don't you contemplate on including Whatsaap under personalisation options? It would be fantabulous

I got this error a few months ago and it eventually got resolved. I'm getting the error " Last attempt failed 0 minutes ago" when trying to personalize with my Gmail account. Facebook and SMS personalization both work. I've cleared my data, cleared my cache, and reinstalled the app completely. It also doesn't work with Google the Google + so I know it's not an IMAP settings issue as a previous post as mentioned.

Please help.

Hi i've been using swiftkey keyboard for years and i really like it, but there is one thing that needs to be fixed: when i run app in landscape mode, the keyboard goes full screen and i can't see what's happening behind. In live app like games, if i open the chat to write something, the keyboard goes in full screen and i can't see anything happening but keyboard and what i'm typing. Older versions of the keyboard split the screen in landscape mode with all type of layout. It's not an app problem because i've made some test with a few keyboards on the market.

I want to suggest adding new words from file or from web. I have a dictionary of all words in my language. But there are more than 50.000 and I need a quick way to add them. I know that SwiftKey has the option to download the language but I tried 'Albanian' language and there have been words that does not exists.

Hamster sending two or three texts in the middle of the text the keyboard disappear often times occurs with voice recognition. Also disappears while chatting on any Social Media Chat apps

There has been constant change in swift key layout. These changes are mindless and putting user in great inconvenience
It is known bug with SwiftKey is unable to solve even after a year. With Gujarati transliteration on, the swift key lags big time. As a result user can not choose two languages togather. With new layout, for choosing gujarati transliteration language, user have now to tap 6 times, this number of taps increasing with every layout update.

Hope આ comon sense would prevails at SwiftKey and sheer arrogance will pave way for user centric thinking

I have read through the posts and blogs and then tried to use the coupon FOREST01 to download Forest but I received an "invalid" error. How can I restore this theme?

Recently whenever I type in snapchat (only after taking a picture, not when using the chat or anything like that), the flow line that follows where you type has been mirrored about the horizontal axis.

Keyboard app stops and shutdown.
English does not have this problem.
App version is latest version (9/12) and this problem occured about 10 days ago.
Not only my device, many korean users have this problem. (in playstore review, there are same people who told like me)
Plz fix it T_T

I occasionally use French but mostly English. Still, SwiftKey offers many French predictions when I want only English, so predictions useless. I'd prefer just to be able to select language, so much that I've stopped using SwiftKey just for this reason. Thanks.

First of all, i want to thank you for adding Sinhala Transliteration support to SwiftKey. Which is great & a lot help us/me to type Sinhala since we/I don't remember default Sinhala Keyboard.

I noted with the recent update, SwiftKey suggests words in the mix of Sinhala & English. Typing in English is confusing.

It is more confusing when I want to Type Sinhala in English based on pronunciation.

Dear SwiftKey, Can you add separate keyboard for English ? Only English

I've ran into a little glitch / cache problem i think trying to reply to an email that is pretty long in terms of replies over forward over replies and so on... Using the app Email (best mail client out there :p ) 
It's the first time this happens and not sure if it's really SwiftKey problem or the combo with that app but when I switch to GBoard the typing lag disappeared so I figured it wasn't the email app struggling on that particular message. 
As I was trying to type a reply with SwiftKey and it was just way too laggy to use.

Anything I could do to send a log or something to see if there's a fix?

The Pinyin indicator is too big on both 6.6.6.21 stock version and 6.6.7.24 beta version.

Using the SwiftKey beta in Viber (on Samsung Galaxy S6), I long press the return button to get the emoji options. Searching and selecting a GIF, everything is ok until I send. From some gif sources it doesn't seem to load, from others it just doesn't seem to get sent. Perhaps this is a problem with viber which does not seem to have a native GIF option of it's own (which is why I even thought trying to send the GIFs from SwiftKey)

How can I turn it off? Tried removing from suggestion multiple times but it doesn't work.
It's really annoying because I use the keyboard with 2 languages and it doesn't recognize it correctly. In Polish 'i' means 'and' and every time I write 'i' it's being auto-corrected to 'I' - in Polish it doesn't make any sense. I've noticed that it's not only my case because friends who use swiftkey have it the same. 
Help, please introduce an option to turn it off - it's good for Eng, but not the other languages.

I am wondering if there is a fix for the issue i am having. Or if you all are even aware of this.

If i misspell a word, then use the suggestions for the correct spelling where ever i mispelled the word if fixes it. But anything after that letter it is left there. I do not use auto correct, as it is annoying, and half the time corrects it to the wrong word. Here are some examples.

I will type out the wrong word, then select the suggested one and leave it all.

"I am wondering indering if...." I spelled wondering like this "windering" then hit space and typed if, theb noticed i spelled it wrong. So i taped on it to change it. And it corrected it, but left "indering"

I hate auto correct rect sometimes. Spelled "corect" first.

It is very annoying ing all the time. Spelled "anoying" first.

I hope this is a good enough example.

Hello, please add in a gesture feature where I can still use swipe type, but when I want to delete words or letters that I can swipe from my backspace to the left which results in selectively deleting texts. That was an extremely useful feature on kina.
