More than 3 predictive suggestions?
RespondidaHow can I get more predictive suggestions than the default 3? In the Czech language quite a lot of words are longer and differ in one or two letters at the end (such as překrásný, překrásná, překrásní, překrásně, překrásné, překrásno, překrásnou,...). The prediction then is useless if I anyway need to type the whole word. In the old times my Nokia was able to expand for me the whole list of other similar words to choose from.
Currently, there is not a way to increase the number of predictions that you receive from SwiftKey. While we've looked into the idea once before, I cannot say if/when this may become an option; but I will submit it as a request on your behalf. If there's anything else you'd like to add to this matter, please feel free to let us know! :)
bumping le thread, please more suggestions - we are too lazy to type more letters for proper suggestions to appear.
I also miss this feature from TouchPal. It's the quickest way to correct a badly executed/interpreted swipe.
I'd love this too, swype has this feature. :-)
Some old board that I had 5 years ago had at least 5 word suggestions. So great. This feature is my primary use. If you are going to Learn to predict anyway, why not go for as many predictions as possible?
Declined in 2012

But I fully agree with this proposal.
I am also very interested in this feature!
I agree that this is a key feature missing in SwiftKey, but sadly available in others like Swype and Samsung's out of the box keyboard. Am considering again using one of these others just for this feature. I just submitted an official feature request, but it's obvious that many others have preceeded mine. I'm very aware about the vetting of new feature requests for SW version updates, so hope that visibility to this increases as an important capability to retain and grow market share for SwiftKey.
Hi to all, any news on the topic?
I amazed that this isn't an option. Samsung's keyboard isn't half as good at getting it right on the first try, but SwiftKey becomes infinitely more frustrating when I can't see more options on a word whose gesture is similar to many others'. Frustrating enough that I'm close to giving up on the Swype style keyboards altogether, not because the technology isn't there yet, but because developers apparently don't have the slightest clue what makes a better user experience. I really can't even describe how disappointed and angry this makes me :(
Fully agree, slavic languages have plenty of endings and having just three predictions is useless cause you end up typing the word anyway, what is not what your app was mentioned to do... I remember that issue was flagged in the past and you said that would slow down the app significantly, but still - I'm really missing that one feature and consider to look for alternative that have more predictions, as that's sooo annoying when you swipe and end up with no wanted world among them three words. Cmon guys, you can do it :-P;-)
I agree!
Sometimes you can swipe extremely precisely over the letters you want, and the word won't appear.
I actually just had this issue with the word "Swipe" haha
please implement this option, it will simplify typing in words for people like me having to write messages in four different languages.
This is definitely something I miss from other "swype" style keyboards. The guesses it gives are usually close enough I can tell it knew where I was trying to go but I still usually have to type my words in. Not helpful to swipe around if I'm going to be typing 90% of the time anyway.
I really miss this, in SwiftKey. Has it on Samsung keyboard, and find this very helpful. Any news on this issue?
Hi Swiftkey support, are you reading this?
Also need this very bad and miss it from my TouchPal 🎹. But your prediction is so much better. Why not take advantage of this?
Have a look on other languages than English or at least at multi language users.
It did work like a charm under Windows phone and you took over the technology from there some time ago
I would like to request more than 3 predicted words. TouchPal has this feature. So I tend to use that keyboard more often.
Unfortunately TouchPal is flooded with ads :-(
Bump. Swiftkey really sucks without that feature. Gboard only uses three suggestions as well, but does not mix up languages as much as SwiftKey does.
Just go back to the Windows phone keyboard. It worked perfect!
