[Duplicate] Triple of the same text when using speech to text
RespondidaI almost always use the little microphone key to speak the text of my email and text messages, but for the past few days SwiftKey triples what I spoke in ALMOST identical text, with 3 slightly different versions of what I said. This is happening on both my Nexus 6P with Android 7.1.1 and my Samsung Galaxy Tab S with 6.0.1.
I even tried disabling the GBoard app, but no luck.
Well I figured this out. I tried switching to GBoard and was having the same problem, so I had to go to settings-language and input virtual keyboard-manage keyboards and turn OFF "Google Voice Typing". It seems that after Google updated their app, this triple text versions started. I still get the 3 versions of what it thinks I said, (in a black box) but can now select the one that it thinks I want to use. Not the same as before but acceptable until they fix it, hopefully.
This has happened to me and my wife too. Both using Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge. Hope they fix it soon. For now I'm using Richard's tip.
Please take a look at this thread.
