Feature Request - Turn on/off Flow for specific languages
Update - submitted through Feature Request option, please disregard.
I use two languages on my keyboard, and English is used much more frequently. It would be very handy if I could turn flow off for my second language as my keyboard often assumes I'm using flow for this language after using shorthand/single letter words like "u", "a" or "I". Since it's a second language, I'm mostly comfortable with using the keyboard without flow anyway. I would assume others may also have this issue?
Hi Matt,
I'm not fully understanding what you're asking for. What other language are you using?
Sorry about my request not being clear enough. I'm using English as my first language and Polish as a second language. I use the English keyboard more often, but I use the autocorrect feature of the keyboard for Polish more often than I do for English because it's my second language.
With that said, I'm not as comfortable using Flow for Polish, so it would be nice to have an option to turn off Flow for my second language. It would be very helpful not only because I don't often use Flow for Polish, but because SwiftKey seems to activate the Polish keyboard when I start English messages using letters like "u", "a", or "I" (because these are one letter words in Polish).
Often times I start a message with "i" or "a" or "u" and continue typing with Flow, and Polish words are predicted instead of English words. If I could just turn Flow off for the Polish keyboard, this wouldn't happen.
That makes a lot more sense, so thanks for clearing it up. Have you tried changing the layout to for Polish and or English? This can help with this prediction confusion.
I will update the title of this post to more clearly reflect the feature request.
Thanks
