Keyboard on lockscreen [needs more info]
Since the last Android update, my keyboard has been coming up on the lockscreen anytime an app is running with a field for text. Is there a way to disable this?

Hello,
Based on the description you gave above, we're unable to know what exactly happened on you device lockscreen.
Please follow this guideline article to post your problem.
Thanks

Hello. I'm having the same issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and I'm running Android 6.0.1. I notice that it happens when my lock screen is set to unlock without a password when I'm at home with a whatsapp conversation left open in the background when I lock my phone. The keyboard appears immediately over the lock screen when I turn on the screen. I'm running SwiftKey 6.6.2.27. Also, when I pull down the the menu from the top, the keyboard remains over it. Thanks in advance!
Same issue here - Samsung Galaxy S6, Swiftkey 6.6.4.19, Android 7.0. Seems to happen when I lock the screen with the keyboard open, or at least when, say WhatsApp is running and I'm on a chat screen. I have the lock screen set to pattern, though, so it's a bit hard to tell as I can't always get back in to check how it was locked.
Same problem here.
Here's some info that might help
1) I have a rooted galaxy S6, running Android 7, running latest swiftkey version (and with a custom emoji font, because Samsung's is dreadful).
2) I noticed is that it happens when i receive a message notification (WhatsApp specifically in my case). Turning the screen on (to see the message), i get the keyboard loaded on top of my lock screen which makes it kind of hard to enter my pattern.
The only way around it is when i run the camera and then close it, which makes the keyboard go away.
The bug is consistent, so it shouldn't be that hard to reproduce.
Waiting anxiously for a fix.
Hi,
@Jonathan,
I'm sorry to inform you that SwiftKey does not support rooted devices or custom emoji.
For the rest reports, looks like only Samsung devices infected, I'll reach the mod team and share your information.
Thank you.
Yeah, I'm having the exact same problem with my non rooted galaxy S7 active. I'm running the the most current version of Android. Never had any sort of problem until it updated one time, and bam it's always up on my lock screen. Can't stand it because I can't get to the quick apps on my lock screen because when it's in the way. And blocks my pattern unlock too.
I found that this was either Cleanmaster or ES File Explorer, and was fixed by disabling the swipe things on the app. As a reasonably quick workaround if it still happens, you can press the camera shortcut (I have a shortcut as a double press of the home key) which enables you to then get rid of the keyboard. Annoying, but seems to work.
Same problem. No root or custom anything. I have to uninstall Swiftkey over this, it's making me have to restart my phone when it goes to sleep. Galaxy Note 4 ATT model (no root possible).
Since last night I am unable to unlock my Huawai Y9 2019 due to Qwerty keyboard appearing instead of numeric keyboard and when I have entered my Screen Unlock Numeric PIN through qwerty keyboard... Phone is not accepting the PIN
What to do suggest Don't want to loos my phone data...
