There is no 4k resolution mode in Samsung Note 8.

The display support up to 2k. If you used another software mod to do this, it's highly unrecommended.

Oh, my mistake! It's WQHD resolution. Problem is with that resolution... Keyboard keys just looks "streched out", big

This happened with Note 5 when Nougat arrived. After happened with S8. And now it's happening with Note 8 also. And there's another topic about this from more than a month ago and simply nothing was done.

This is absolutely frustrating. There are no words.

I'm a user since the beginning of the app and paid for it. Now that is free, unfortunately they simply don't care for significant issues like this.

Can you verify if other 3rd party keyboards (eg, Gboard, Fleksy, TouchPal, etc.) work well on your device in the same resolution?

Alpert, other keyboard apps are OK in all resolutions. This issue is not new. Note 5 had this problem (when Nougat was released) in the highest resolution and after some releases it was fixed. By the way, one build brought the bug again, but the next one fixed one more time. I'm even typing this on my Note 5 in WQHD resolution and the size is absolutely OK.

S8 also got this issue and now its fixed. I have one (not the Plus one) and the keyboard size is absolutely perfect in the WQHD resolution.

Now I got my Note 8 yesterday and the keyboard is absolutely huge just like it was on both devices I mentioned. And the problem is that we can find threads here and on XDA since more than one month ago and there's no fix until now.

For the other devices it was fixed so fast!

I really hope it will be fixed... This moment could be deal breker with SwiftKey, unfortunately. Don't want it to happen in that way

It will. For Note 5 and S8 they fixed quickly. Don't know the reason why there's no love for Note 8 users now.

The size is normal for you in the latest beta?

I sent them an email three days ago, but no answer to my ticked until now.

Need to confess I'm pretty sad with this. SwiftKey support was always so fast and had so much attention for issues, suggestions.

But now it seems they simply don't matter anymore.

And this issue is destroying my experience with my new Note 8, since I'm so used to SwiftKey and this huge size is already making my fingers hurt to get a good position to type in this huge screen with this huge keyboard even in the minimal setting. Not counting the amount of typing errors.

In the past there wasn't any keyboard really in pair with SwiftKey, but I'm honestly liking Google's keyboard. Maybe this will be the definitive workaround, since I won't go less than my expensive device full resolution, with this huge screen, because of one app.

Even using the middle one resolution options makes noticeable the image quality reduction, mainly because our screen is huge.

And the truth is we would have to wait for some weeks (at least), since the latest beta was released just yesterday. Now the next one maybe will arrive in a couple of weeks, don't know.

    Anyway, I give up.

On my new Samsung S9+, I prefer using the highest WQHD+, but when I do the "medium" SwiftKey keyboard setting is enormous - almost unusable and the small setting isn't much better. Using the default FHD+ resolution setting, all the SwiftKey size options work fine. I've used SwiftKey for years on various premium LG phones. The resolution wasn't adjustable. It looks like I'll have to switch to GBoard like others here. It's a shame as I loved SwiftKey.
